I had a great weekend there with my son. The minor issue was that we were struggling to connect to the WiFi, only managing to connect on our first day.

True to its name. On the Ocean offers stunning views of the ocean literally at your doorstep. Hosts Cecelia and Andre are amazing. Had a lovely stay and would. definitely recommend for some relaxing time out.

Great people, great stay!

We were greeted with a warm welcome from Cecelia, and throughout our stay we met Andre, who was very pleasant as well. The cleanliness and everything was top-notch. The aircon was a welcome relief during the Durban heat. The sea view was amazing. We had our privacy and enjoyed our stay at "On the Ocean"! Thank you again for your kind gestures.

If peace, serenity, friendliness is what you need, then this place is just that and more.

The host was really great and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She made sure we had all the info we needed as well as all the supplies. I am definitely keeping this place on my radar. Not to mention the view, cleanliness and space.

Room is very clean with a neat kitchen and nice size veranda. Beautiful sea view. Very nice area with low traffic noise. Parking inside behind a locked gate with remote control.

I must say the establishment is neat and in close proximity to shopping centers, beaches, medical centers. We were just a bit worried about the safety of our car as it was fully exposed to passersby when parked inside the establishment yard. Otherwise, our stay was super, enjoyed every moment spent there and even extended by an extra day as the kids didn't want to leave. The service was also great, Cecilia, made all efforts to make us feel at home.

On The Ocean is one of the very few places I’ve stayed at that has all you need for a relaxing and romantic aura, with a beautiful ocean view. What makes the accommodation even better is that the host were very understanding and truly made our stay worry free and enjoyable. I will definitely go back for another holiday.

Te min plek om alles te noem. Wat vir ons uitgestaan het was toe ek Andre gevra het waar ek visgereedskap kan huur, hy uit sy pad gegaan om vir my te kry wat baie waardeer word.

The place is clean, quiet, close to the beach the view is to die for, and most importantly the owners are nice.

The unit was ideally located in an upmarket quiet area with sweeping views of the ocean. The owners welcomed us on arrival and ensured that we were orientated as to the amenities on-site. The unit was spacious and clean and exceeded our expectations.

Alhoewel die woonstel op die see is, het mens nie direk toegang tot die strand nie, a.g.v. die hoë duin waarop die bluff geleë is. Strande is egter baie naby en in 'n goeie toestand. Verblyf was gemaklik en gerieflik, asook parkering en toegang tot die woonstel. Die kombuis kan wel doen met 'n paar bykomstighede.

Was uitstekend met genotvolle tariewe.

Was 'n perfekte plek om te bly en sal beslis weer in toekoms gebruik.

We really enjoyed our stay at the ocean. The owner was very kind and friendly to us. The apartment is clean and spacious. You really feel at home. On the Ocean will definitely be our second home when we are visiting Durban.

Eienaars so vriendelik en die plekkies is so mooi groot en die uitsig asemrowend. Stil area, jy's regtig weg van alle geraas. Sal dit oor en oor aanbeveel vir iemand wat see-rustigheid soek.

Die ligging van die plek kan nie beter nie. Jy lê in jou kamer en kyk na die dolfyne en walvisse wat voor jou baljaar. Dis veilig, skoon en geriewe is gerieflik. Gasheer en vrou is vriendelik en betrokke, maar gee tog vryheid sonder om beweging te beperk! Sal beslis weer terugkeer! Baie moeite gedoen net dekor. Tuin waarop jy uitkyk is 'n lus vir die oog en die wilde voëls is 'n pluspunt. 'n Moet-terugkeer-ervaring! Heerlik gebly en gerus!

I love everything about On The Ocean, it is very clean, open, affordable and we got good service.I will like to go back again with family or friends it is the perfect place.

Me and my partner had a great time there, from the apartment to the area itself which is nice and quite. It's a beautiful environment with clean beaches. This was real value for money. It is literally right on the ocean. Amazing views and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend this as a top accommodation spot in Bluff.

The unit is clean, spacious and well maintained. Very friendly owners who made us feel welcomed. Hoping to return during the whaling season to catch a glimpse of the whales.
