Description
Oppi See is a lovely two-bedroom unit in the Great Brak River and is comfortably furnished for a family of 4. Here you can be lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean, and early in the mornings you'll see the dolphins playing in the surf. You can easily watch their antics from the unit's balcony. During August to September whales can be seen right in front of the house.
The river mouth is a popular fishing and swimming spot, especially for the young ones. The unit is situated on the top floor. The main bedroom has a double bed, while the second room has 2 single beds. A bathroom with a shower is shared between the rooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, as well as a microwave, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table or outside on the balcony. There is a lovely lapa and braai perfect for socializing. The lounge is equipped with a TV and DStv EasyView. Guests are welcome to bring along their own decoder. The lounge also opens onto a balcony which has a view of the ocean. There are steps and a balcony so small children need to be supervised.
Oppi See is located just 150 meters from the ocean. The swimming beach always has lifeguards during season. The unit is just a short drive, about 2 km, from a Spar with a Tops liquor store, Wimpy, the popular bar De Dekke and more. A variety of attractions and activities can be enjoyed in the area, such as fishing (from the beach or deep sea fishing from Mossel Bay), mountain hiking, windsurfing in Wildernis, the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, the strawberry farm in George, and more.
Great Brak River is centrally located between Mossel Bay harbour, Hartenbos with the ATKV and all it's fun activities and George. Come kick off your shoes and walk along the beautiful, quiet beach!
