Just the place for some peace and quiet in the bush.

We wanted a quiet place to be able to work. Oriole Bush Cottage fulfilled exactly what our requirements were and is great value for money. Will definitely make use of the cottage in future.

Excellent stay in a well-designed and equipped cottage.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, and the complimentary bottle of wine and bag of firewood were very nice touches. There has been careful attention to detail, and every need of guests is catered for. We enjoyed the sunrise from the patio and relaxed evenings next to the fire. Several bird species visited the garden and bird bath, and we saw a small spotted genet and common duiker pass through. The barred owls called from close by, and we heard the resident hyena. We will definitely recommend the cottage to others and stay there again. It is a good base for the area.

Was a wonderful stay. Well located, safe, private and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay. The place was tidy and comfortable, very private and also well managed. The cottage was stocked with all the necessary equipment and basic utilities.

Above standard accommodation for the price category.

Very clean and neat facilities. Many more amenities and the comforts of home than is the standard for self-catering accommodation in South Africa. Thoughtful touches everywhere make for a really pleasant stay in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back.
