Unpleasant stay, owner who doesn't care about guests, choose another place.

Our visit was not very pleasant. The swimming pool was very important to me and I also indicated it as such. On arrival the pool was in a terrible state and was never fixed during our stay so we could swim. The shower drain also started giving problems on our 3rd last night and wouldn't drain, the owner didn't call a plumber but expected the lady who works there and we received (Alice, who was great by the way ) to unblock the drain. She is not a plumber. Alice then poured in drain cleaner and the smells were so strong that we couldn't get into the living area, kitchen (which by the way is also right next to the bathroom) and the bathroom on the last night. Both my son and I have sensitive asthmatic chests and both became ill with upper respiratory infections after inhaling the fumes. We still haven't recovered. After 3 nights at this place I looked for our other accommodation but couldn't find anything within our budget and we were forced to stay here for the whole holiday. It was extremely unpleasant. There was also a dear young dog who has no training yet and who scratched my car terribly by constantly jumping up against it. If there is/was a possibility to ask for my money back I would do it immediately.
