Out in Africa Wildlife Lodge offers a safari experience themed around a hundred years ago, established with minimal environmental impact in mind and located in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, Hammanskraal.
For maximum privacy, the units are 50 meters apart, separated by thick bush, and each patio faces the Big 5 game fence. The luxurious tented suites feature extra-length king-size beds, bathrooms with a toilet, basin, and outdoor shower. Other amenities include a wardrobe, desk, chairs, and deck chairs, all set on an elevated wooden platform accessible via a ramp.
The Injabulo Restaurant is housed in a 100-year-old dining car. The "train in the bush" experience is the first surprise for guests. Upon entering, they step into an Edwardian-style dining car, furnished with period chairs, tasseled curtains, and bell-shaped reading lamps. For dinner, guests are invited to embark on a culinary roundtrip through Europe without leaving the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Every 4–5 weeks, the menu changes to showcase dishes from a different European region. Set five-course menus are served, featuring ethically sourced, grass-fed meat and as much locally grown, organic produce as possible.
The lodge believes that mutual respect for people and nature makes the world a better place.
