Smoking Policy: In the event of smoking in any of our rooms the charges will be as follow: A fine of R1500-00 is payable on departure for an un-rentable room that will involve the following. Chemical washing of the walls, ceiling and carpet. Dry cleaning of the curtains, night frill, cushions etc. Room charge for one night as the room is in the process of a chemical clean. All smokers are welcome to smoke in the designated smoking areas. Please respect the guest using the room after your departure.
Visitors will be allowed, if arranged with management. If management is not made aware of the visitors, they will be charged R200.00/ day/night. Any visitors staying later than 9:30pm will need to pay R200.00 per day. Please be considerate of the guests in the front rooms by reception by keeping your voices down.
Any damages to the property or items belonging to Oxford Lodge will be charged at replacement value.
No alcohol to be consumed "outside" the rooms.
We respectfully request that all noise be kept to a minimum at all times to ensure that all the guests at Oxford Lodge can enjoy a good night's rest. Irons and ironing boards can be obtained from reception along with a R50 refundable deposit.
We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by theft or fire.
