This is one of the few places I can recommend for accommodation. It was truly a 5 star experience. One could not ask for a better location. The house is a paradise. It is overwhelmingly spacious, yet so homely. The amenities are truly top notch. The price for accommodation is not excessive at all. What makes the place special is the service. Oystercatcher exceeded our expectations. Sue's response to prior inquiries was prompt and complete. Elizan was very helpful and accommodating regarding leave later. The accommodation itself was four and a half stars, and if the kitchen was bigger it would have been five stars. Nevertheless, everything is well appointed with all the necessary and even luxurious finishes. View of St. Helena Bay and further west is picturesque and we literally spent hours in the lounge without feeling cooped up - the weather was not always helpful for beach walks! I would recommend the Oystercatcher anytime for group stays. We used the house (all six available rooms) and therefore had the whole place to ourselves - fantastic experience!
