Description

Paradise River Lodge enjoys a beautiful location on the banks of the Olifants River in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, about 35 km from Hoedspruit. This lodge has an abundance of bird- and wildlife for guests to enjoy.

Accommodation is offered in 5 different rooms. The Kingfisher Apartment is furnished with 2 double beds and has a loft with 1 child-only single bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and the lounge area has a couch and a dining table with chairs.

The Woodpecker and Turaco rooms are identical and are both furnished with a double bed, and a single sleeper couch, and feature an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin, as well as a private outdoor shower. The rooms also have a ceiling fan, a closet, and a desk and grant guests access to the communal kitchen.

The Sunbird and Fishing Owl Rooms are also identically furnished and both have a double bed, an additional single bed, a wardrobe and a desk. The rooms each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Each room opens to a shared balcony with lovely views and guests also have access to the communal kitchen.

The communal kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, kettle, toaster, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There are also two outdoor dining tables. The swimming pool is centrally located in the lodge, and there are sun loungers with chairs along the river which is ideal for relaxing. Secure parking is also available on the premises.
