Sal Phangwa beslis weer besoek en aanbeveel!

Ons het Paasnaweek spandeer by Phangwa Bushcamp. Lekker stil en rustig. Staanplekke is baie privaat en ver uitmekaar. Die privaat-ablusie was 'n wenner. Alles werk soos dit moet. Dinokeng wildbesigtiging is slegs 10 km weg en ons was gelukkig om baie wild te sien. Lekker naby aan die huis en geen stres met Paasnaweekverkeer!

What a beautiful little hidden gem.

Relaxing, pleasant with kind and accommodating hosts.

Loved that the ostriches and buck visited our site, that our site had privacy and space, and that the private ablutions were neat and clean. The boma was a pleasant surprise.

Dit was 'n rustige naweek met geen padgeraas van die groot pad nie.

Die gasheer en gasvrou is baie aangenaam. Daar is net te min lig in die nag oppad na die badkamers toe en in die paaitjies na die verskillende staanplekke. Ja, ons weet dit is 'n boskamp, maar daar is te min lig as ouer mense daar moet kamp. Verder is die ligging reg en is dit baie rustig daar.

Close to Pretoria with lovely private sites.

Nice private sites with own ablutions, scullery and boma for braaiing. Sites far apart for privacy. Close to Pretoria.

Rustig en stil.

Dit was ongelooflik stil en rustig. Die boma en privaat ablusie is 'n absolute plus. Weet net selfoonsein is nie great nie, maar dit het ons nie veel gepla nie.

Peaceful and quiet bush camp stay.

Lovely bush camp with well thought-out ablutions. Private and quiet, close enough to Dinokeng Reserve for game drives, with some game on the farm. Hosts were attentive and looked after us well.

Had a great stay at Phangwa. Sites are well spaced for privacy and the bomas are great, especially when the weather turns.

We enjoyed our weekend. Stands are private and in the bush. It was lovely, peaceful, and quiet. The hosts are fabulous. Definitely will go back.

This can be a fabulous camp - beautiful trees; but it needs investment!

It is very rustic, but all necessities are there - power points, water on site, decent ablutions - however no lights on the sites. They need some more game. The road to the camp is in need of some grading!

Campsite clean and relaxed.

Campsites are clean and ablution. Hot water was a problem due to one moment you have hot water and the next moment it's cold.

Fantastic.

We only stayed for one night and loved every minute of our stay, from the animals visiting to the cute private ablutions! The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us too!

Wonderful weekend break away.

We visited Phangwa Bush Camp during the Easter weekend. What an awesome place. We had two stands that were grouped together, and it was perfect. We could barely see the other campsites. The sites were nice and big, and the private ablutions were painfully neat and clean. Matt and Lee-Ann were the perfect hosts, always willing to assist. We can't wait to go back.

Heerlike kuier in die bos weg van die lawaai van die wêreld.

Daar is net 8 kampplekke op die terrein en op redelike afstande van mekaar. Die eie ablusie is prakties ingerig met lekker warm water. Ons kon heerlik stap op die gekombineerde plase en het heelwat wild gesien.

If you want to be in the bush away from it all, this is perfect!

Raak verlore in die bos.

Dit is 'n baie rustige wegbreek vir klein 'n groep mense.

Baie warm, heerlike swembad.

Baie netjiese staanplek, lekker in die bos. Het ook die onverwagse storm oorleef.

Uitstekende waarde, fantastiese diens en puik ablusies.

Ons het een nag spandeer en sal beslis die plek aanbeveel. As jy opsoek is na 'n pragtige bosveld wegbreek naby Gauteng is die plek uitstekend. Ons was daar voor die reënseisoen en dit was droog en warm maar sien uit na 'n kuier na die reën! Baie goeie diens (Lee en haar man het ons selfs uitgehelp met kampstoele) en die privaat ablusies is 'n wenner!

Dit so rustig en stil.

Die 8 kampplekke is baie privaat en elk met sy eie ablusiegeriewe. Die perfekte kampplek as jy wil rustig wees en net ontspan.

Wonderlike kampering.

Bestuur is uiters professioneel. Die wildrit en gasvryheid was uitstaande.

Uitstekende gasheer en -vrou.

By ons aankoms is ons baie goed ontvang. Baie rustig. Sal in die somer weer gaan.

Baie mooi natuuromgewing. Pragtige staproetes. Vriendelike diens.

Salige bos-omgewing waar mens kan ontspan. Staproetes lei jou na 'n groot verskeidenheid diere op die perseel. Privaat ablusiegeriewe is beskikbaar en baie netjies. Vriendelike diens. Winkel met basiese benodighede ook beskikbaar, asook mooi swembad.

Lovely experience.

Phangwa Bush Camp, thank you for a lovely getaway. We needed a quiet, isolated break from the city with an authentic camping experience and that is exactly what we got. Having the animals visit right outside our tent was truly remarkable. Thank you to the super friendly staff who took care of our needs at all times. The only thing is that the pool was not well maintained. It was not clean.

Phangwa is a great Bush Camp for a quick getaway!

They keep you informed of your booking, they meet you on the day of your arrival to indicate your campsite. The private ablution is quaint and clean as well as the campsite is lovely and clean. A clean braai is provided and cleaned by managers on a regular daily basis. Managers and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have wood and ice you can buy from them and they bring it to your campsite. There is a small pool, unfortunately though when we visited, it was being cleaned, so could not use it. Overall a very nice bush getaway, with wildlife roaming close to the campsite or you can walk to view some wildlife up close. Really enjoyed our stay and not far from JHB/PTA for a quick getaway. Had a great time!
