Pleasant breakaway to the bush.

The units are very nice and equipped with what we needed. The lodge gardens are beautiful and they have catered for the little ones with small scooters and bicycles, a nice swimming pool and a jungle gym. Each chalet has its own boma from the outside 'stoep' and we enjoyed the late-night fire in the cooler weather. We encountered a herd of about 16 elephants one day riding along the river, fishing was not successful due to the weather but plenty of nice places next to the river where it could have been possible, just be wary of the hippos! The chalets were cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly. The first night and the last morning we enjoyed food from the restaurant and they are recommended!

Friendly management and staff, excellent lodges.

We planned to stay 3 nights to be able to visit one day Mapungubwe and one day Botswana. We were the only visitors and management and staff provided us with excellent service and friendliness. We needed to cut our visit one day short and the management immediately refunded one night.
