Excellent stay, the host has given attention to detail while doing up the place. The kitchen is well equipped. My kids loved the pool.

A nightmare with no electricity or water for days.

Comfortable.

We were comfortable; however, the geyser needs to be sorted out: hot, then extreme cold, then extreme heat. I do not like all the security cameras. There is not enough shade to sit by the pool area.

Unpleasant.

Unfortunately, the owners did not inform us of the ongoing power issues in that section of the Park. They insisted they did not know about it. Transformer overloadings had been going on for over a week apparently. The first night we sat without power in 47-degree heat, not knowing what the issue was. The alarm battery also died, so no alarm. On top of this, the inverter was not switching over, so no backup. The owner could not tell us what was wrong with the inverter or how to fix it. On the second day, the power was on and off all the time. Only after I got angry did they send someone out to look at the inverter. Which turned out not to be set correctly. We were also told not to run all the aircon so as not to draw too much power, in that heat was crazy. The caretaker informed me to talk to the lady in charge of water and electricity in the park. She said they have known about the issues and should have informed us. The pool was murky, I suppose because it was not run enough due to the power outages and was only set to run for two hours. We complained about it but no one came to look. We ended up buying chemicals and running the pool ourselves. We lasted 5 nights, on the day before we were due to leave the power had been off all night and the inverter batteries were depleted. The inverter continued to have a loud beeping noise. The owner could not tell us how to switch it off. I asked for one night's refund as we decided to leave but after complaining to you we only got 50% back for one night. Sad as we enjoyed the Kruger Park and the warm pool but not to be repeated.

Brilliant as before. Place is a gem.

We stayed here before and found the place to be very comfortable. It has everything we could wish for and the best feature is the inverter that lets you completely forget load-shedding.

The place was very neat and comfortable to stay in with everything you could wish for. The backup power made a huge difference and we did not even notice load shedding at all.

Rustig en modern.

Podges hius is baie goed uit geleë. Alles is daar wat jy nodig het met a groot swembad. Ons het diere gesien en ek sal verseker weer by hulle gaan bly. Die persoon, Sonja, is ook baie behulpsaam as a mens iets will vra. Dankie vir ons lekker kuier.
