Description
Prestwick-on-Gowrie is a beautifully appointed self-catering homestead on the picturesque and secure Gowrie Farm Golf Estate in the KZN Midlands. With magnificent views of Clubhouse Dam, the golf course, the farm, and its own championship-standard putting green, this home is a magical holiday rental for families, friends, golfers, and conference parties.
The homestead comprises 5 en-suite bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. 4 bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and the fifth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. Each bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, washbasin, and either a bath and a shower or a shower only. The beds are fitted with electric blankets and the bathrooms include heated towel rails and underfloor heating. Linen, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, air fryer, microwave, 2 bar fridges, ice machine, cutlery, and crockery. The living area includes a dining table, a fireplace, a TV with DStv and Netflix, and comfortable couches.
Additionally, the house includes a second dining area with a fireplace, 3 TVs, an inverter, a Bluetooth speaker, Wi-Fi, a wood or charcoal-burning braai, a gas braai, a camp cot, and a feeding chair. Some of the area's wonderful attractions and to-dos include the Midlands Meander, restaurants, spas, golf, cycling, fishing, hiking, and birding.
