Last year we slept at another branch and we thought it was top notch. To our surprise, this new branch exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful; they assisted us with our bags and asked us if there was anything else that we needed after we had settled. We are very happy and we will definitely go back again.

A peaceful stay, beautiful garden, and spacious room were the highlights of our stay.

Hierdie was my 3de besoek aan Rabi's Guesthouse en soos in die verlede kan ek dié verblyf hoog aanbeveel. Die enigste minder positiewe terugvoer wat ek het, is dat my kamer effens vuil was toe ek gearriveer het.

Acceptable accommodation.

Area was shocking, neighbourhood dogs bark all night. Didn't feel safe when entering or leaving the establishment. Room and linen were clean. We were a couple, yet only 1 plate, knife, fork, and tablespoon were in the room (other guests have commented on this in their reviews). Fridge and microwave were clean. Additional warm blankets were in the cupboard if needed. Fresh towels were supplied. Garden area was neat.

Pleasant, nice and brief.

Stay was good, clean room, and the shower room was super amazing, spacious and the sheer power of the water was refreshing.

Until they fix the above, I would not recommend the establishment to a friend.

The place has potential; however, there are a number of things that need to be changed for them to get it there. 1. The first one being cleaning the place. The place just needs to be properly cleaned everywhere. One room had stains on some pillows and towels. In one room, the toilet was not smelling clean and fresh. 2. One room had a broken toilet, i.e. the lid was broken by the hinges. 3. They have glass sliding doors on the rooms; however, the curtain rail has been put too far away from the wall, so the curtain, when closed, does not provide the necessary privacy that is required. 4. In addition, the curtains are too low and do not reach the floor. Given that they have glass sliding doors, it also results in the necessary privacy not being provided. Someone could peek underneath from the outside. 5. There were very noisy neighbours for two of the rooms that we booked. 6. In winter, they should have additional blankets already included in the rooms. On a positive note, the manager had reached out to us prior to arrival to send us the location and full address, as well as enquire as to when we would like to check in. This was very much welcomed.

Netjies en waarde vir geld.

Ons het lekker gebly. Ons stort se dreinering het nie goed gewerk gewerk nie, maar verder kan ons nie kla nie. Ons het vir 'n ekstra stoel, glas, bord en eetgerei gevra, aangesien ons 2 en nie 1 gas was nie. Die personeel was behulpsaam. Die kamers lyk groter op die foto's, maar mens raak gou gewoond daaraan. Moet nie na 19:30 Mr. D probeer bestel nie, hulle drywers was almal besig en na 20:00 was hulle toe. Die tweede aand het ons al vroeër bestel.

Everything was in order except for shower was not working.

I will book this place again the next time I visit North West.

It is a relaxing and beautiful setting. Seamless check-in and friendly staff. We loved our stay there, it is centrally located and has easy access to amenities. Definitely staying there again the next time we are in Mafikeng.

Alles was soos beskryf. Geen misleidende foto's. Eienaar self is ook op die perseel wat 'n ekstra punt verdien. Well done. Sal weer van julle gebruik maak.

Modern facilities and beyond value for money.

Friendly and welcoming host and staff. Facilities very modern and trendy. Green garden and outside space for nature lovers. Safe area and central location. We recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Friend's Wedding.

We were welcomed professionally. The gentlemen showed us our room. Helped with directions to get around Mafikeng. The rest of the staff was also friendly and professional (security and cleaners). Our room was spotless, the bedding was super clean and the bed was super comfortable. The room was cleaned every day we were there. The location is close to shops, safe and quiet. Even driving at night was not a problem. The generator kicked in during load shedding. Will definitely book here again when visiting MFK again. The Wi-Fi was not working but that was not an issue.

It was like home thats all I can say.

Perhaps provide dinner next time.

A two night stay for a traditional wedding which was about 700 m from the guesthouse, so proximity was key. The rooms are really adequately spacious nicely tiled.

Farhaan is incredible. He was there to welcome and make sure all is well. Loadshedding is still a national crisis but he made sure in the evening his generator would be working should the need to charge devices and have the TV and lights on. I have my own personal few cosmetic tips I can throw but I'll chat with him next time I'm in town again. All in all a good investment and work-in-progress.

The host was very friendly, assisted when he didn’t have to (lent me his personal charger). Value for money!

The birthday solitude I needed and enjoyed.

It was peaceful. I was able to binge watch Discovery ID to my satisfaction. The employees I briefly interacted with before check-in and after check-out, were friendly and pleasant. Loadshedding wasn't much of a damper during my stay except for the limited or unavailable network availability and low water pressure. It rained in the early hours of my final day at the guesthouse and I loved it. Fazal was a great help in sorting out the water issue I had on my morning of checking out.

If you are looking for the basics in business accommodation, then Rabi’s Guesthouse is the place. Friendly and very accommodating.

Practical accommodation.

The generator makes a huge difference, allowing business travellers to continue with work during load-shedding. The lack of branding/advertising outside the guesthouse makes it a bit difficult to find.

Onaanvaarbare verblyf.

Die plek buite is so walglik dat geen mens daar kan slaap nie! Uiters swak en onnet! Gaste wat ook daar geslaap het het die hele nag net buite ons kamer musiek gespeel en alkohol gebruik tot 5 uur die oggend! Mense slaap in hulle voertuie! Uiters onveilig! Kamers is netjies, maar dis ook al! Sal hierdie plek vir geen mens aanbeveel nie!
