Great views and so serene!

We had a very pleasant stay, Denise is an incredible host! Pity we could not use the swimming pool, unfortunately, we assumed it was available to guests since it was photographed.

A refreshing experience.

If serene is what you are after...this is the place to be. It was not difficult to find, their signage is quite clear. Bertus is a very friendly guy. We had one of the river facing rooms and it was clean and a good size. The bathroom is really spacious.There is a bench and a set of chairs outside the room on the veranda which is a great place to have drinks whilst gazing at the river. We had a braai by the river at sunset. The area is unbelievably clean and great for pictures too. We spent our afternoon lazying by the pool. Wow this is our best Christmas experience yet. The restaurant is not yet functional, however.

Really beautiful place but could use improving.

Rapid Dawn is a beautiful serene location for a couples gateway. The rooms are beautiful and the owner extremely pleasant and nice. We didn't particularly appreciate the absence of shower cap for my wife. On the second night our bedding was not changed and there was no hairdryer. Besides this issues we didn't like it was a beautiful place for us to unwind.
