Goeie dag. Rhus Lancea was baie netjies en skoon! Gasvryheid was uiters goed. Die cottage is nog mooier as op die foto's! Defnitief 'n belegging. Sal enige tyd weer daar gaan kuier. Oom Willem en Pokoljonsie is regte harts mensies. Die beste! Baie dankie.

We had a peaceful, rejuvenating, restful time at the cottage. The hosts were lovely. The interior is done with warmth and attention to detail. Thank you to our hosts for their creation.

Hidden gem! Worth it over and over again!

The best cottage you will ever stay in! The hosts are out of this world amazing and accommodating. Extremely clean, you will want to walk barefoot throughout your stay. It really is such a beautiful place. Everything that you need is there, from a lovely pool, your own private garden/braai area, a fully functional kitchen, and a stunning bath and shower. Cannot recommend this strongly enough. A refreshing breakaway from the city, so calm and relaxing, definitely exceeds all expectations.

Baie oulike netjiese plekkie, groot stort, alles goed ingerig. Lekker braai buite. Baie gasvrye mense en het uit hul pad gegaan om vir ons aangenaam te maak. Sal hulle definitief aanbeveel.

Everything was fine. There was a lot of attention to detail and welcome cookies provided. All appliances and devices, water, gas, and electricity worked. The fireplace was great! Hosts were friendly and very helpful.

Vriendelike diens, puik, skoon en netjies. Ek het waarlik heerlik uitgerus en kon weer bietjie batterye laai en mens word. Heerlike stil plekkie om rustig kwaliteit tyd saam God te spandeer. Sal voorwaar weer gaan. Uit en uit die moeite werd met plat op die aarde, nederige eienaars wat werklik die ekstra myl stap om jou verblyf onvergeetlik te maak.

This is simply the best cottage we have ever stayed in, not only is it clean and convenient but it's beautifully designed and constructed. You have a private garden with bird life all day, a braai, a wonderful open-plan bedroom, a deep bath and big shower and a fully functional kitchen. Cannot recommend this strongly enough, our hosts were fantastic.

The place was absolutely gorgeous, Willem and Tannie are such pure souls.

The pictures don't do justice, this place is beautiful, and the view is to die for. Definitely coming back.

Relaxing breakaway.

This cottage is so well stocked, you can essentially only bring your food and clothes. An abundance of wood was supplied, with firestarters. Veggies from their garden were given and we also received fresh bread. It felt like relaxing with family.

Excellent.

We were there over the weekend of the 17th of March 2023. We had the most amazing time ever. It was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed to relax. The cottage on the whole is kept very neat and tidy, and the workmanship is excellent. The decor on the inside of the cottage is excellent. Thank you for having us uncle Williem and aunt Tinkie, we really enjoyed our stay. Will definitley recommend the place anytime, just to get away from the city life.

Rustig, privaat, lieflik.

So lekker gekuier. Die woonstel is so mooi versier, die spasie is so groot, jy voel nie beknop nie, mens het plek vir alles, alles is baie skoon en netjies. Die badkamer is baie mooi en groot, die bed is gemaklik, die water proe baie lekker, daar is vars blomme in die badkamer. Jy word so mooi na gekyk hierso! Sal dit definitief aanbeveel!

What an oasis of peace. Beautiful cottage, well stocked with everything you need and thoughtful extras provided by amazing hosts Willem and Tinkie. If you need to get away and rest, you need to visit this gem.

Dit was 'n wonderlike ervaring by Rhus Lancea Cottage. Dit is pragtig en baie ruim. Ons was hartlik verwelkom deur Willem en Tannie Tienkie. Sal dit vir enige iemand aanbeveel.

Rhus Lancea Cottage is the type of place for when you want to take a break and breath in fresh air.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted in a very friendly manner, the cottage was beautiful and kept in a good clean condition. The bathroom has both a shower and bath and both are exceptionally decorated and big. One can see the amount of thought the owners have put in, for instance, fresh flowers in the house, breakfast cookies, Hug in a Mug cappuccino, shower towels and swimming towels and so so much more. I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay in the most beautiful country cottage.

Willem and Tienkie went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we need. We arrived to freshly picked flowers and herbs decorating the cottage, chocolate on our bed and a freshly baked tea cake in the kitchen, oh and some fresh vegetables from the garden. The cottage is really beautiful, a lot of thought and creativity went into it and it was a very pleasant stay, we would definitely like to return. The cottage absolutely has everything you need, down to the firewood and firelighters, as well as picnic blanket and basket. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever experienced at a self-catering cottage.

Total bliss and tranquility in a gorgeous cottage.

My wife and I made a late booking for a 3-night stay. Immediately after payment was made the host called me with directions and would meet us on the road where we were to turn off, all it took was a call when we were close, and indeed Willem and Tinkie were there. The care and details provided in the cottage were delightful the furnishing and fittings were amazing. It was a cold weekend and Willem made sure there was ample firewood supplied. The surroundings and amazing gardens were bliss, we managed to spend some time at their glorious pool in total privacy as well. Superb value for money with amazing hosting and we are already looking to see when we can get back here as for us and I guess most people for a break away you do not need more than this. All facilities were more than adequate for us - total bliss.

The place was peaceful and the service was money worthy.

I am a very happy customer and planning to go back to Rhus Lancea Cottage again soon.

A very quiet and peaceful stay.

If you are looking for a getaway from everything with peace and quiet this is the palace to go. The hosts are so friendly and helpful, including the 4 legged ones. what a welcome we received. The facilities were everything we wanted. We will most definitely be back.

An absolute gem in Magaliesburg!

What a beautiful cottage tucked away in the mountains. Willem and Tinkie were so welcoming and made us feel so at home. All the little touches of decor made it such a special cottage to spend time in. Just the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate the soul. All the comforts of home with the peace and quiet of the countryside. We look forward to staying here again!

Peaceful and beautiful.

Thanks to Willem and Tinkie for their amazing hospitality! (and to Pokolosie, Sparky and Spot). Their cottage was the perfect ratio between creature comforts and rustic. The farm was so peaceful, an amazing place to explore to get away from the city life for a bit. Everything one needs for a great getaway, they've thought of and catered for. The fireplace inside the cottage was a beautiful focal point and the decor was very tasteful. (My favourite place was the spectacular bathroom - not called a ladies bathroom for nothing)! Thanks again to our amazing hosts and we're looking forward to coming back soon!

Ons het ongelooflik lekker gebly in die kothuis wat oom Willie-hulle met so baie liefde gebou en aan mekaar gesit het. Geen detail was misgekyk nie. Die gasvryheid was van die boonste rakke - ons was tot bederf met 'n lekker stukkie tuisgebakte koek!

Rhus Lancea is 'n lafenis vir die siel - dis rustig en stil en privaat, en naby genoeg aan die stede vir 'n blitsige naweekwegbreek.

Baie goed ingerigte plekkie met 'n lekker kaggel, pragtige bad, en alles wat mens nodig het. Die fynere details en omgee is wat die plek van ander onderskei - koffie en tee, beskuit, handewasseep, dik winters kamerjasse, sneesdoekies. Die eienaars gee regtig om vir hul gaste.

Ongelooflik lekker gewees. Sal beslis weer daar gaan kuier.

Dit is 'n pragtige kothuis, netjies ingerig en privaat. Eienaar doen regtig moeite en mens voel baie welkom. Ons het dit vreeslik geniet en sal beslis terugaan.

The place is very clean.

Nice place for romantic weekend and they were so welcoming. We really enjoyed the pool, was clean, everything on point. Safe place.

Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, enjoyed every minute of the scenery.

The owners were so welcoming and pleasant. We had a beautiful soft cake on arrival. The set up is awesome and a metal dish used as the shower head (very unusual). Clean, neat and very tidy.

Lieflike kothuis! Pragtige dekor, privaatheid en uitsig oor die heuwels!

Willem het ons met baie kort kennisgewing baie vriendelik ontvang. Hy en sy vrou is baie gaaf. Die gras was pas gesny en sy vrou Tinkie het vir ons die heerlikste, varsgebakte suurlemoen cupcakes gebring. Die privaat tuintjie is pragtig. Daar was 'n baie slim braai in die tuin en baie vuurmaakhout. Die dekor is ook baie stylvol en interessant. Die groot stort en bad was 'n treat! Dit was so lekker om die skapies te hoor blêr en ons het vriende gemaak met Cyan, die perd. Ons het ons verblyf baie geniet en sal definitief terugkom!

Rhus Lancea is a wonderful gem in Magalies! Wonderful welcome and cleanliness. Beautiful place to recharge for the new year.

Aangenaam verras.

Ek hou van nuwe plekke. Nog nooit is ek verwelkom met hartlikheid, vars kruie en 'n koekerigheid op die tafel nie. Nog nooit was byna alles in die kothuis, 'n handgemaakte kunswerk nie. Silwerskoon en sóveel ekstras. Ek kom graag weer.

Waarlik 'n rus vir die siel.
