Beautiful place for a weekend with family.

We loved the quiet, peaceful space with uninterrupted views.

Heerlike wegkomgeleentheid vanaf die daaglikse geharwar en besige lewe.

Pragtige natuurskoon en verskeidenheid staproetes. Die gasvryheid en diens was uitstekend.

Pragtige plek, swak ingerigte huis.

Die omgewing en stapplekke is onverbeterlik. Die huisie self lyk egter of daar baie lanklaas aandag aan gegee is. Vier poedingborde bv. vir ses mense, vyf groot borde, te min glase, en geen vadoeke of afdroogdoeke, 'n lig sonder 'n gloeilamp in en 'n deurhandvatsel wat aan een skroef hang en sommer afgeval het na dag een. Dit lyk nie of enige iemand gehaltebeheer toepas en die plek inspekteer voor gaste opdaag nie, en dit vergelyk swak met ander plekke in dieselfde prysklas. Wat baie jammer is, want die plaas self is lieflik. Die inwonende opsigters is baie gaaf en tegemoetkomend, maar iemand moet kyk dat die huis ordentlik toegerus is voor gaste arriveer.

Dankie, Rockhaven, vir 'n heerlike naweek. Pragtige omgewing, vriendelike ontvangs, skoon en netjiese geriewe.

Stunning views.

Rockhaven Guest Farm is well worth a visit if only because of it's stunning views and remote location. The cottage was rustic but clean and comfortable. The walks absolutely lovely except they are poorly signposted. My only real beef with this places the totally inadequate directions. I don't mind going over a steep mountain pass but would like to know when I'm on it that I am going in the right direction. But if you want to be gob smacked by incredible natural beauty, great bird-life and spectacular flora, this is the place to go!

'n Wêreld weg vir 'n wegbreek!

Die private en spesiale ligging van hierdie kothuis is ideaal om weg te breek en te rus! Dis pragtig, die omgewing - en wat is lekkerder as om in die koue reënweer vuur te maak en die mis orals buite te geniet. Ons is wel dankbaar dat ons met 'n bakkie die nat modderpad aangevat het.

Fantastic setting and peaceful place.

We where a large group of family and friends. The place was ideal with lots of activities.

An area of outstanding beauty, dark starry nights, and deep peace. A wonderful place.

The remote rocky mountainous area is one of exceeding beauty. The accommodation provided is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and the cottages sits discretely within the landscape. Everything one needs is provided, in a quiet understated way. There is a lovely harmony between the natural world and the cottages on the farm. Swimming in the dam and in the river pools was wonderful. Jaap and his wife were charming, and assisted us with whatever we needed. I would love to spend more time there: the starry nights and the quiet world were wonderful.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Rockhaven Guest Farm. This is the ideal destination if you looking for peace and fresh air. I am rejuvenated and ready for life again. We are looking forward to going back in summer! Thank you Stofelina for the lovely welcome and send off!

Middle of nowhere.

Rustig ruim natuurlijk, goed geregeld, niet zo gastvrij.

It was exactly what I hoped for.

The setting is fabulous, the house is well equipped and the place is peaceful.

Vredevol.

Hul sê dis dierevriendelik, maar hul 2 honde het met ons s'n kom baklei op ons stoep. Eerder nie dierevriendelik aandui nie. Andersins was dit heerlike plek wat rustigheid skep. Pragtig verby!
