We had a lovely stay, it was just very hot in Cradock. Diane was very welcoming.

The owner was lovely and welcoming.

The bed was a bit soft. The room was clean and offered good value for the night. I stayed with my son, travelling from Johannesburg and heading home.

Not a pleasant experience.

On arrival - renovations in progress and driveway full of sand which made access tricky. Trees also blocked. Parking area was small. The cottage bathroom was dirty, tops of tiles and window especially. The front security gate was tacky. The bed was very uncomfortable, no dustbin in the bedroom - only in the bathroom. Half of the cupboards were locked. The outside of the building looked neglected.

We did explain to you that we were renovating and painting but we could see you did not accept this and were unhappy. I have just examined the bathroom and it is not dirty - my cleaners are excellent. Most people love Rose and Olive, so we are mystified.
