Excellent in every way!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Bernadine was an excellent host - the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was beautiful!

Beautiful cottage surrounded by pristine nature. Well rested and relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful time, beautiful cottage with a spectacular view of the surrounding nature. Peace and quiet, the type of place that makes your ears ring with the silence. The cottage was neat and tidy with all the amenities you can think of; we were short of nothing. The stoep area outside was the highlight with the covered braai area and hot tub. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

We had a blissful long weekend at Rose Cottage. Bernadine and her family were incredibly kind and helpful: from recommending cycling routes, letting our kids feed their farm animals, and taking us to the neighbouring farm to see the cattle farm. Rose Cottage has everything for a relaxing stay and the views are sublime. We loved the large hot tub and swims in the river. Can't wait to return.

Relaxing weekend.

My husband, myself and another couple stayed for 3 nights. We had the most beautiful time. The cottage is just lovely with everything that we needed. Fresh milk and farm eggs waited for us. We enjoyed the walks on the farm and swimming in the river. Did some birdwatching and had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Bernadine's cottage. It was peaceful, surrounded by nature, and she is an excellent host. Fresh farm milk and eggs on arrival, and everything is clean.

Brilliant, relaxing.

Everything with Bernadine and the Dairy Shed was outstanding. Above and beyond expectations. Even helping to find out some history on the town that I happened to mention. The only thing that I would suggest is updating the photos to show that the pool has a hot water system in it. We loved the little touches. Great showers. Even WiFi connection was great. Look forward to returning in the future.

Ons het weereens so lekker ontspan. Die natuurskoon is eenvoudig asemrowend mooi. Hier kan mens behoorlik afskakel en elke natuurgeluid en uitsig inasem. Die Rose Cottage is pragtig gemeubileerd en ruim. Ons kom vir seker weer!

Comfortable, rejuvenating and just what the soul needed - home from home.

This place is amazing - Bernadine was an awesome host, saved Christian like us and was warm and friendly. The cottage was amazing, super clean, and the little touches made us feel like it was home from home. The peace and quiet was welcomed and early morning walks were what the doctor ordered. The fresh farm milk and eggs supplied were appreciated. I will be back early next year for sure.

Absolutely lovely stay! Well equipped kitchen and braai area. The view was amazing and so was the host and her son. The son was a gem. He took us for a walk to the river and even let us feed the chickens and sheep. 10/10 stay.

The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating; we took our dog with us.

Stayed 2 nights with wife, kids and dog. I recommend this place to anyone. Hosts are putting their heart and soul into their 30 hectare paradise.

Absolutely fantastic.

What a gem of a place this is. Tranquil with no sound of traffic or city noise. Nature at its best. Facility is in impeccable condition. The host, Bernadine, is super lovely and awesome. Fresh milk and eggs were a lovely surprise, not to mention the river. Gosh it was amazing.

Baie netjies, met al die geriewe wat jy mag nodig kry. Goed toegerus en lekker ontspanplek.

Baie netjiese huisie. Alles wat jy benodig vir 'n wegbreeknaweek is in die huis. Baie mooi skoon en lekker privaat met 'n pragtige uitsig oor die berge. Die swembad is 'n lekker bonus en bederf, en voorwaar 'n welkome ontspanningsgerief.

It was absolutely fabulous.
