Perfect breakaway with friends, everything was as detailed on the app.

Pre-arrival arrangements and contact was spot-on. On arrival, everything was exactly as was advertised on the app. Super impressed with the accommodation, very neat, clean and beautiful views. Cottage is perfectly situated and equipped with more than enough crockery and cutlery, games and even books about the stunning wild horses and amazing birds. Always nice at Meerenbosch, thank you to Maguerite and the team for making it a memorable stay. A definite "yes" from me, if you need a breakaway, it is the place to go and relax, be quiet and enjoy nature and just reset everything for the rest of the year. Thank you. Will be coming back soon.

Roux's Rus was the perfect getaway for us to recharge our batteries. The accommodation was clean, quaint, and the view was lovely. I would definitely recommend it.

A deeper nature experience on our doorstep.

Felt like we were submerged in nature with a spectacular view, surrounded by various wildlife and living in the beautiful wooden cabin. We also had the luxury of being welcomed by a cosy, clean home, electricity, board games, and even DSTV! The kids did wish the pool was heated as the weather was colder, but the warm shower made up for that. We all had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Mooiste uitsig van Botrivier estuary van stoep en balkon.

Baie mooi uitsig. Lekker gebly. Flaminke en wilde perde was 'n hoogtepunt. Huisie het alles wat mens nodig het. Dit moet dalk net genoem word dat die stort op die onderste vlak is en nie bo waar slaapkamers is nie. Daar is wel 'n toilet bo.

Lekker rustige blyplek met besonderse uitsig van die balkon af.

Normally, I don't give full ratings, but I could not find any fault. My family absolutely loved the house! It was clean as a whistle, and the owner was always available to make our stay more comfortable. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Thank you, Marguerite, you lovely person.

Roux's Rus was wonderlik. Op die water met wilde perde wat daar rondloop. Lekker huisie met alles wat jy nodig het. Fantasties.

It was a great place to stay. Nice and private, very neat and clean. Spectacular view over the lagoon. Nice waking up to the sounds of the birds and animals in the area. Great place.

Dis die perfekte plek vir so 'n vinnige wegbreek.

Die eienaar is baie hulpvaardig en vriendelik. Die verblyf is stil en privaat. Die foto's wys nie genoeg hoe uniek die plek is. As jy by die skuifdeure uitkyk sien jy die flaminke wat in die lagoon staan. Die wildeperde loop om jou rond. Die natuurlewe is besonders. Ons het nooit onveilig gevoel nie. Sal beslis weer teruggaan.

Accommodations were comfortable for our party of 3 adults and two kids. Well appointed kitchen. Nice walk to the beach (even though a front came through while we were there).

Ons het baie lekker gekuier. Die huisie is oulik, skoon en netjies. Jy het die mooiste uitsig oor die water.

Beste plek om te ontspan.

Ek was die naweek daar en my familie sal definitely weer book. Baie rustig en veilag, en eienaar is baie vriendelik. Sal enige iemand anbeveel om te gaan vir 'n naweek.

Peaceful and tranquility.

Had a pleasant stay. Very neat and tidy with a great view of the lagoon. Well equipped. The owner was polite and responsive if any questions were asked. Lots to do and very safe. Definitely will come again.

Fantasties.

Die ondervinding was wonderlik. Alles was netjies en die huisie is toegerus met alles. Min wat die foto's voldoen aan realiteit, maar dit doen. Die tieners was glad nie verveeld nie, want daar was genoeg bordspeletjies en ander vermaak. Die uitsig is asemrowend. Ons sal beslis weer kom. Baie dankie.

We enjoyed it so much. The only thing I would change is to have a gated braai area for the little kids. But other than that perfection.

Rustig en pragtige natuurskoon, baie gerieflik.

Verblyf is baie netjies en meer as voldoende, alles is beskikbaar, mens voel sommer tuis. Uitsig is asemrowend en die wilde perde bring 'n vreedsame en kalm gemoedsrus wat die wegbreek meer aangenaam maak.

Baie cosy plek.

Vir 2 mense is dit effe duur, maar sal baie meer bekostigbaar wees vir 4 of 6 mense. Stel voor hulle bêre die braairoosters binne, want dis heeltemal opgeroes. Daar was net 1 kleinbordjie. Stel voor hulle kry wifi. Die kamer op die foto lyk groter/ruimer as wat dit is, maar steeds mooi.

Was great, but DStv was not connected and we ran out of electricity which was not great.

One big problem with the house is the sunken floor by the fireplace. It is extremely dangerous. My SO actually fell into the hole, but fortunately did not hurt himself. We also had to make a barricade for the kids to keep them safe and away from the hole.
