Lovely accommodation in a perfect location.

We enjoyed the apartment with the extra touches. Very comfortable, neat and homely. Superb to braai in the garden with a sea view. Enjoyed walks in the area and Stanford Cove Beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Peace and quiet.

Lovely place to just relax and get away from the city life. Will definitely go again.

The unit exceeded our expectation.

The unit had everything we required and its location was perfect for us. If the fynbos on the Nature Reserve edge of the property boundary could be trimmed in a "natural" way, it would allow the most amazing view from the patio. An alternative would be a platform in the North East boundary. Herman was an amazing person to have as a host.

Baie lekker en aangenaam.

Dit was net 'n plesier om daar te bly. Dit was skoon en netjies en daar was selfs blomme op die tafel as 'n welkoms geskenk. Baie dankie vir die fantastiese 4 dae, wat ons van julle gasvryheid kon gebruik maak.

Die gasheer het ons baie vriendelik ontvang. Als rondom die eiendom se veiligheid, en teobehore verduidelik. Was altyd toeganklik vir enige vrae.

Oom Herman is 'n gasvrye gasheer en bied bekostigbare, ruim verblyf aan. Ekstra ligte vir beurtkrag, 'n fles en ander dienste was net 'n bonus. Dankie.

Baie netjiese plek en dit is skoon.

We were pleasantly surprised by the extras.

We arrived a bit late, but Herman waited on us and even called to make sure we on the right track. Rusks for morning coffee as well as sweets in each room. The apartment has everything that you might need, you don't have to travel with extra towels and blankets, etc. or cleaning material. Before you book, make sure you comfortable with the owners living on the premises. Overall a fantastic week end.

Hoogs aanbeveel.

Baie goed geleë, netjies en ruim. Ten volle toegerus. Baie vriendelike ontvangs. Ons sal weer daar bly.

Home away from home.

Hierdie is 'n juweel van 'n plek. Alles en nog meer is beskikbaar. Herman, die gasheer is absoluut wonderlik en altyd beskikbaar. Die sjokolade en beskuit was 'n bonus.

Heerlik!

Die eenheid is baie lekker ruim, met bordspeletjies en boeke. Lekker grasperk vir kinders om te speel. Die eenheid is bitter netjies, en baie goed toegerus. Eienaar baie vriendelik, en kommunikasie baie goed. Regtig aangename ervaring!

Perfect in every sense!

Herman was the perfect host! Accommodation was spotless, and great touches were provided. We had complete privacy at all times. We would definitely recommend this, and we will be back!.

Netjies, stil en sonder voorvalle.

Ons het die verblyf gebruik as basis om die omgewing te verken. Ons het 'n heerlike tyd gehad en die minimum by die plek self spandeer. Ons gasheer was behulpsaam en die plek was baie netjies en presies wat ons wou hê in terme van verblyf.

Everything we needed.

Herman, the owner, was always available to provide useful tips and advice. He was never in the way and always respectful of our privacy. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed braaing every night. We found the braai practical and it worked well for us. Herman suggested a local tyre company in Gansbaai for good wood at a reasonable price. And Ruth at the local laundry in Gansbaai. Overall a very pleasant stay, and recommended.

Rustig, veilig en is met die skoonste, mooiste plekkie bederf.

Rus en Vrede is presies wat sy naam sê. Ons het heerlik afgeskakel en die uitsig is ongelooflik. Herman is vriendelik en dra sy gaste se belange en privaatheid op die hart. Die eenheid is pragtig versier met blomme, skilderye, luukse geriewe en ons is met lekkers en beskuit bederf. Word sterk aanbeveel!

Spacious, well appointed flatlet with some view of the sea. Security was excellent. One issue for some will be the steep staircase outside which you take to access the downstairs entrance.

4 single beds with no option of joining two. We were pleased to find light cotton blankets instead of only a duvet. No towels rails.

Baie teleurgesteld. Amper geen uitsig nie as gevolg van plantegroei. Eienaar het ook met navraag gesê jy het veilige parkering agter 'n outomatiese hek. Eienaar laat hek heeldag oopstaan en maak net toe in die aand en hy is nie outomaties nie. Alarm en beams werk saam met die hoofhuis, so jy moet nie self stel nie, want eienaar stel dit in die aand. Woonstel goed ingerig en gerieflik.

Very friendly and warm welcome. I loved the privacy and the safety. And the lovely chocolates! And all the little gestures of care and welcome.

The only comment is that I would wish that the neighbours would cut more of their bushes so we would have had more view. I love an open sea view and it would have been much better when both neighbours would have trimmed their hedges more.

We needed a place to stay so we can have our photoshoot for our exhibition.

Basically we were working on a body of work that will be used for our exhibition. We needed a beautiful location to create the work, hence our stay.

It's like a breath of fresh air!

Our weekend was absolutely amazing. The fresh home-baked rusks is absolutely amazing. The owner of the property has not once intrude into our private space! Everything is spotless and so neat and clean. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get away and take this place as your leap of faith, and get new perspectives every morning as you wake up and hear the birds chirping and the sound of the sea as you sit on the patio and enjoy freshly brewed coffee with the amazing rusks provided.

Our stay was too short, but we would like to return and explore the area more. Very comfortable accommodation with nothing lacking.

The accommodation had two rooms catering for four people. The kitchen was very well equipped with a supply of tea and coffee and rusks. Nothing was wanting. There was a separate dining room and a lounge with TV which had the full bouquet of programmes. The unit was very clean and the beds very comfortable. One room with a sea view.

Heerlike rustige omgewing met 'n pragtige uitsig vir as jy wil ontspan.

Die plekkie was goed ingerig en gemaklik. Alles is daar wat jy sal nodig kry, en die omgewing is mooi. Ook nie te ver van die dorp as indien jy vinnig iets sou nodig kry nie.

Skoon, rustig, vriendelik.

Die akkomodasie is ruim, baie netjies, goed gemeubileer en toegerus. Die gasheer het baie goed na ons omgesien. Die beddens is gemaklik met goeie gehalte linne.

Rustig en lekker!

Baie skoon, baie netjies, vars gebakte beskuit, groot bederf met sjokolade in al die kamers, baie goed toegerusde kombuis en baie behulpsame eienaars - ons het 'n heerlike wegbreek gehad.

This venue is nothing short of being peaceful, comfortable, relaxing and spacious. In fact, anything more would just be wrong!

From the time we were welcomed, it just felt right. The venue is on the lower level of the main house and overlooks the lower garden and De Kelders Bay. Just sitting outside in the porch and watching the water is so relaxing. The house is very spacious. Both rooms are well equipped with good beds and lovely crisp and fresh bedding and the chocolates was definitely a winner. The bathrooms is very clean and serves the purpose very well. The kitchen, it’s completely fitted and fully stocked with all sorts of cutlery and equipment for you to hate just cook up a storm as you wish should you decide to eat in. This is really an amazing gem with amazing hosts as well. I have to mention though, the stairway to the lower level might be a bit challenging for some people but still overall, this is a magnificent venue. At lastly, what would make this place mind blowing would be a splash pool in the lower garden. I would certainly be back every weekend then!

Die woonstel is baie gerieflik en skoon, alles wat jy kan nodig kry, was daar. Lekker stoepie met 'n lieflike uitsig oor die Plaat.

Baie rustig.

Lekker uitgerus, ekstra moeite gedoen met lekker beskuit en sjokolade in die kamers.

Breathtaking sea views.

Overberg beautiful place. I will recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the City rush.

Verblyf was baie netjies en goed toegerus. Fantastiese uitsig.

A comfortable, up-market flat with a wonderful view. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, from salt and pepper to beach towels. The personal touches, fresh flowers, more than enough coffee and tea, home-made rusks and chocolates ensure that you feel welcome. A relaxed, private flat where you can relax and enjoy a home away from home.

Very comfortable and clean.

We had a very nice stay here. The kitchen was modern, with absolutely everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the place very clean. Full package DStv included, and also good security provided at night.

Oulike plekkie, baie netjies en modern. Alles wat jy benodig is daar. Gasvryheid van eienaars is lekker. Kort 'n klein muurtjie by trappe om kinders uit/af te hou. Verder ongelooflik, hoogs aan te beveel.

Die uitsig was pragtig en alles wat mens nodig het om 'n naweek lekker te rus.

Rus en vrede som dit op. Mens kan hier rus en net sit en die uitsig geniet van die stoep, grasperk of van jou kamer! Heerlik om te gaan stap en die woonstel is so groot soos 'n huis.

Privaat, netjies en baie gesellig.

Die verblyf was baie gemaklik en mooi skoon en die gasheer en gasvrou was baie vriendelik. Die plekkie het 'n mooi uitsig, is lekker privaat en is goed ingerig met als wat ons nodig gehad het en meer. Die klein details (soos die vars blomme en vrygewige hoeveelheid sjokolade langs die baddens) wat die gasheer en gasvrou mee moeite doen, maak dit werklik 'n warm ontvangs en atmosfeer in die eenheid. Nie eers gepraat van die heerlike tuisgebakte beskuit nie. Baie dankie, dit is heerlik.
