Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R6750 is payable directly to the property.

Please note that you will be required to accept the full terms and conditions as provided by management upon booking.

Regrettably, no pets are allowed.

Parking underneath the next-door house or any of the other units is prohibited, as this is private property. Additionally, please ensure that cars or trailers are not obstructing the entrances to neighboring houses.

Please always respect your neighbors and their privacy. Do not make excessive noise.

No fishing, swimming, or group communal activity is to be held there.

No smoking is allowed in the house. A clean-up fine of R2000 will be applicable if this is contravened. Please dispose of your cigarettes properly and only when fully extinguished in an ashtray or bottle.

No open fires are permitted inside, under the house, or on any of the decking.

Under no circumstances are Fireworks allowed to be brought onto or used on the property.

The lodge has its own private swimming pool located in front of the lodge. This is for your private use only. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your party, and management accepts no responsibility for any accidents or injuries.

No net is supplied for the pool. As the dam at the back and the river are so close, it is imperative that all children are accompanied by an adult when outside the house due to the water hazards associated with the river.

Fishing is permitted solely on the front of the lodge property. Guests are required to bring their own bait and tackle for fishing activities. Additionally, it's the responsibility of guests to obtain any necessary fishing licenses from the authorities, as these licenses are individual requirements.

The lodge allows boating and is equipped with a paved slipway and your own private boathouse and jetty. You will be required to have your boat licensed for inland waterways and the skipper must be licensed to drive the said vessel.

A replacement fee will be charged for the loss of keys and breakage of locks.

Please refrain from placing any form of Anti septic down any of the toilets or drains.

Please take note of power outages due to Eskom. In the event of power outages please do not use candles in the house. There are rechargeable lights for these types of emergencies.

Neither management nor its staff accepts any form of liability or responsibility for lost, damaged, or left behind items.

No camping or caravans are authorized on the property under any circumstances.

In the event that you require the use of the facilities at the lodge beyond your stay, it's possible to arrange this with prior notice. As long as there are no conflicting bookings, you may extend your stay for the remainder of the day of departure, typically until 17:00, for an additional fee.
