SANParks Addo Narina Bush Camp
Description
Accommodation is offered in 4 canvas tents that each contain 2 single beds. There is no electricity, and lights in the camp are solar-powered. The tents have shared use of a paraffin-powered shower and separate toilet. There is central thatched camp kitchen with a gas-powered fridge and gas stove, and cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. The camp also has a lapa with a firepit braai area.

Rates displayed are on a self-catering basis and bedding and towels are provided. Rates include a 1% community fund.
House Rules
This camp does not accept cash.
All visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce an identity document, passport or alternative valid identification e.g. driver’s licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Parks.
A standard daily conservation fee of R360 for foreign visitors, R180 for SADC nationals with a valid passport, and R90 for South African Citizens and Residents with ID, will be required on entry to the park.
Please note that the camp is only accessible with a high clearance vehicle.
Guests will need to check in at Addo Main Camp no later than 15:30. The Narina Bush Camp is a 25 km/45 minute drive from the Addo Main Camp, on gravel roads.
The camp is accessed by crossing a river bridge and walking about 500 m through the forest.
Guests should arrive at least 2 hours before sunset as there is no electricity in the camp.
Please bring your own torch.
Narina Bush Camp is not situated in the Big 5 area of the park and no large wildlife species occur here.
Please note that no meals are included in the accommodation rates.
There is no shop or restaurant in or near this camp.
No firewood is provided.

The main camp reception is open from 07:00 to 19:00 daily.
The main gate opens at 07:00 and closes at 19:00 daily.
There is a height restriction for vehicles on the entrance road to Addo Main Camp of 4.42 metres.
Cancellation Policy - Custom
Cancelling or downgrading of a reservation 45 days or less prior to, or on, arrival will result in cancellation fees according to a sliding scale, based on the total reservation cost, which varies between 50% and 100%.
