Last stops for fuel (measured from park offices) are Ceres 180 km away, Calvinia 110 km away, Sutherland 140 km away, and Middelpos.
Diesel is available in the park.
There are no shops, restaurants or ATMs in the park.
No cell phone reception within the park as well as the main access roads.
Wood is available for sale in the park.
Please take care when driving in this region. The road gravel is sharp and often loose. Be very careful when taking corners and making sudden stops. Please give some thought to your fuel and water requirements, bearing in mind that the closest refuelling points are Ceres, Sutherland, Middelpos, and Calvinia. Consider packing a full jerry can.
We recommend you traverse the park with a vehicle with high ground clearance and good tyres.
All roads in the park are gravel/dirt roads.
The use of drones inside (and over) our national parks is strictly prohibited.
No smoking is allowed inside the accommodation.
Remember, by feeding any wildlife you are signing their death warrant, as they become aggressive.
As outdoor lighting in camps is limited, a torch/headlamp is required when walking outside at night.

This self-catering cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests and contains 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and an en suite. The second, third and fourth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The bathroom contains a shower, a bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The cottage has restricted 220V power. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge features a fireplace. Outside, there are braai facilities.
