Perfect.

We had an amazing weekend.

Ons het ons naweek baie geniet, dit was net te kort.

Sea-La-Vie is 'n baie mooi huis en dit is 'n rustige omgewing, ek sal dit beslis aanbeveel vir ander mense.

Our stay was perfect.

The place was absolutely breathtaking. It was beautiful, stylish and clean. We had a wonderful amazing time. Wow, your house decor was great.

We had a great stay. The owner and agent was very helpful. Place was clean and location was great especially the lake.

We hope that the comments and observations we have made are taken constructively as the house comes with huge potential.

We arrived to a beautiful house on the marina. The house advertised Wifi so we were very disappointed to hear that we had to purchase this service and that it was not included in the package as we were lead to believe. The same applies to the TV services which you have to buy data for. The one sliding door is sticky and tends to come off the rail when we open and close the door. We were told about this on the day of our arrival. A dirty face cloth was discovered in the bedroom cupboard, it was soiled with human faeces, and this was reported on our 2nd day. The ceiling in the lounge is giving way. Please notify the owner as this could have a disastrous result if it had to come down. The downstairs shower was used once. Unbeknown to the person in the shower there was water pouring down the passage. The water did not drain well (may be blocked) and the shower seal at the bottom is missing. We reported this immediately. We were unable to use the shower for the remainder of the weekend and used the beach towels supplied to mop up the water that had run out into the playroom and down the passage. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with everything you needed from braai dishes to serving platters. Plenty of crockery and cutlery for a 12 person stay. There were plenty of dish washing tablets supplied, however there was no sunlight liquid to wash the glasses and other items that were unable to go into the dishwasher. We needed to purchase. There was one toilet paper roll supplied per bathroom and as you can imagine three toilet rolls amongst 12 people did not last long. We needed to purchase. There were no extra black bags supplied. There were only the two black bags that were in the bins when we arrived. We needed to purchase. All the hand wash dispensers in the bathrooms were empty. Remove them or fill them up. The small soaps supplied were a very sweet touch. Due to all of the above reported to Sune (including the dirty face cloth discovered in the cupboard) we were offered one night free stay on Sunday (which we unfortunately could not take up), then a late departure time on Sunday and the refund of our R700 cleaning fee. I suggest in future rather fixing the complaints instead of expecting the customer to fix it themselves. The six children all slept upstairs. There was plenty of room for them and the idea of them having their own TV room lounge is brilliant. Unfortunately the advertisement on the website isn’t clear as it states the availability of TV facilities. We didn’t realize when booking that it is a pay as you go service. On Saturday night as one of the children was walking down the stairs one of the alloy railings came completely off and landed on the wooden floor. It left a dent on the floor but we were more concerned about the damage it could have done if it had hit a child. The house is perfectly situated and we were very pleased to have a mooring and easy accessibility to our boat. The entertainment area is great. It’s unfortunate that the lack of some items (smaller touches) that we would expect to be supplied were not there (especially at a rental of R4465 per night) and of course not making it clear that some of the services were to come at an additional cost. The lack of maintenance will become a hazard if not addressed. We hope that the comments and observations we have made are taken constructively as the house comes with huge potential.
