Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1200 is payable directly to the property.

Thank you for your interest in staying at Saints View Resort. We look forward to seeing you.

Please note that there is a refundable breakage deposit fee that is payable before arrival and is not included in the rate. The rental agreement that will be sent to client after deposit was paid must be filled in and sent back before arrival. No keys will be released without the necessary documentation returned to Just Property.
The breakage deposit will be refunded in the following month after departure, less any deductions for breakages.
Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit.
Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform our offices immediately.
The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by yourself.
Please remember to email us your account details.
Please do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the unit. Failure to comply with this request will result in eviction with no refund and no notice period.
A cancellation fee of R500 will be levied on all cancellations. This R500 is over and above the percentage already stated as the cancellation fee.
No smoking is allowed inside any of the units, flats or houses, should you smoke in the house you will lose your breakage deposit in full.
Don’t forget to bring the following:
Towels for swimming and bathing,
Your own cleaning chemicals and toilet paper for during your stay. We provide the first roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. We do not do change linen for less than a 7 nights stay
We do not provide a cleaning service but it can be arranged with us and will be paid for separately to Just Property. Should you require the unit to be serviced, please inform us 24 hours before the required service.
Cleaning services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
Check in no earlier than 14:00.
No keys can be released without full and final settlement.
Please ensure that the full balance outstanding is reflected in our bank account 14 days prior to arrival. No directions will be sent unless we received the full payment including the refundable breakage deposit. Keys needs to be collected from Seagull during office hours , after hours collection will be sent once full payment and filled in rental agreement has been received , directions to the holiday property will also be provided in an envelope. Keys to be dropped of at Seagull reception,

Tenants will be held responsible for all charges relating to lost keys or keys not returned after vacating the premises.
We cannot be held liable for any losses or inconvenience to tenants caused by an act beyond our control. In the event of any appliance being out of order we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.

Cancellation Policy
In certain cases when a deposit was paid and the client wants to cancel there will be a cancellation fee of R500 on all cancellations. This R500 is over and above the percentage already stated as the cancellation fee.

More than 1 month before check-in, 50% deposit refunded.
More than 2 weeks before check-in, 25% deposit refunded.
Less than 2 weeks before check-in, 0% deposit refunded.

Cancellation Policy - Custom

The refundable breakage deposit fee is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is not included in the rate.
In certain cases when a deposit was paid and the client wants to cancel there will be a non-refundable cancellation fee of R500 will be levied on all cancellations. This R500 is over and above the percentage already stated as the cancellation fee.

More than 1 month before check-in, 50% deposit refunded.
More than 2 weeks before check-in, 25% deposit refunded.
Less than 2 weeks before check-in, 0% deposit refunded.
