Sethlura Bush Camp

Not nice.

Cold shower and the bathroom floor always wet. The beds are not comfortable at all. The kitchen was too small and the chalet is not beautiful.

Aangename bosveldvakansie saam met familie.

Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang en eienaars was baie gretig om ons verblyf so aangenaam moontlik te maak. Plek word baie netjies in stand gehou. Hul pizza's was heerlik!

Not pleasant.

Firstly it rained the whole time we were there. There is no hot shower. And with the rain a cold shower was horrible. There was nothing for us to do on the camp. There is only 1 tv in the bar area and it was too cold to sit there. When it was time to leave the roads were flooded and the host said we will have to stay an extra 2 days and we didn't budget for that. Their rate was higher than what we had booked through the website. We also didn't have enough food to stay longer. The host told us there is only 1 road going out and when we decided to get on the road we were shown an alternative route by the other locals. The host knew about the alternate route but didn't want to tell us because he wanted us to stay longer. When I messaged the host and told him about the other route he was not surprised. There were other people stranded at the camp and I told him to tell them but he didn't. We were told there's Wi-Fi but there was nothing when we got there.

Lovely place with really nice people.

We had a very nice weekend with family for my mother's 60'th birthday. The people were very nice and helpful, but there were a few maintenance issues. There was also additional costs that I was not aware of until after booking, like a fee for sanitizing. But overall value for money.

Nice and secluded.

If you are the bushcamp type person, then this one will work for you.

Vêr van dorp, min geriewe.

Was nie skoongemaak voor ons gekom het nie, maar moes betaal vir sanitasie van kamers. Op dag wat ons op pad was 'n lys van goed gestuur om saam te vat wat hulle nie het nie. Slegte pad om te ry.

As jy wil rus, is dit die plek.

Gaan rus en geniet gasvryheid van die eienaar en sy vrou.

Baie lekker en rustig.

Ideale wegkom van die stadsgeraas. Dat daar geen TV is nie, was ideaal. 'n Mens kon weer lekker gesels.

Ontspanne.

Paar klein goedjies wat ek sou anders wou hê, byvoorbeeld mikrogolfoond en warm water in kombuis. Anders as dit, was dit heel aangenaam.

Very quiet and restful.

Remember it's a bush camp, not a bush lodge. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely camp to stay at. Needs a stocked bar.

It was very relaxed.

Neat and tidy. A very nice bush experience. Comfortable and cosy to stay in.

Heerlike veilige bosveldwegbreek saam met ons kinders en kleinkinders.

Ten spyte van die paar kilo's grondpad, is dit 'n klein oase in die middel van die bosveld. Net groot genoeg en met die nodige om die kinders en kleinkinders besig te hou. Sonette en Lourens is baie aangename en gasvrye mense. Die boshutte was gerieflik en skoon met lugverkoelers wat noodsaaklik is in daardie geweste. As ek wel kan voorstel, warm water in die kombuisie en dalk 'n klein mikrogolfie in elke hut sal nuttig wees veral as daar kleintjies is wat bottels drink ens. Andersins was dit 'n heerlike bosveldwegbreek!

Fantasties! Baie gasvry en rustig, wonderlike ontvangs.

Verjaarsdag gevier, verloof geraak! Dankie Sonette, Brits en Lourens. Awesome plek! Julle sien ons beslis weer.
