Peaceful, comfortable, in touch with nature, quirky and unique.

We were welcomed by Juanita and felt right at home. The cottage is situated in a lovely spot that allowed us to rest and relax. It's close enough to eateries, shops and activities.

The sound of the Olifants River and hippos were medicine for our souls.

It felt like we stayed in a beautiful treehouse for 3 nights. The white noise of the Olifants River and the hippo snorts are the absolute best medicine for 'stads japies'. The unit has everything you need for a short stay. Juanita is a great host and gave helpful suggestions on places to visit and eat at. She also promptly attended to a stray house cat that was causing a nuisance every evening. It would be lovely if the bushes in front of the unit were cut back to give a better view of the Olifants River.
