Sherwood, set in the scenic uMngeni Local Municipality region, is built from local organic materials on a family-owned beef ranch that has been operating since the 1850s. The house accommodates up to 7 guests, offering a peaceful escape.

The property features 3 bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, the second bedroom with a queen-size bed, which can be split into 2 single beds if required and the third bedroom with both a queen-size and a single bed.
The property is fenced and pet friendly with many guests bringing their dogs with on holiday to take on walks and runs.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, cutlery, and crockery, while the living area offers comfortable seating, a woodburning stove for colder weather and there is also a roof covered outside braai area with a table and seating, a badmington or volleyball net area.

Guests can enjoy exploring the 2,000-hectare working farm, with activities encouraged such as walking, running, gravel road cycling, mountain biking, offroad/ adventure motorbiking, hiking, trail running, swimming and fishing in the 8 km of Brown Trout streams, bikes and sporting gear are welcomed.

The farm also features real off-road tracks for adventurous drives. Children can interact with friendly calves, potbelly pigs, horses, and a donkey, while everyone can bask in the fresh air and African sun or cool off in the sparkling Karkloof river and tributary streams.
