Description
Shoveler is a charming self-catering cabin located near the beach, 10 km from the seaside holiday village of Dwarskersbos. The cabin offers a tranquil beach breakaway, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. The first bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a single sleeper couch and a child-only bed for 1 by the lounge area. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom is wheelchair-friendly and includes grab rails, a lowered basin, and a roll-in shower with a seat and rails.
The cabin boasts a well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with a fireplace. The kitchen includes a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. The living area opens onto a deck, offering lovely views of the reserve, outdoor furniture, and a built-in braai area.
Guests have access to a communal swimming pool. The reserve does not have Wi-Fi. The rectangular windows in the cabin are ideal for birdwatching from the comfort of indoors. Enthusiastic birders will enjoy easy access to the reserve’s bird hides, and bird spotting can also be done from the private deck overlooking the reserve.
