The owner was friendly and made my partner feel welcome on arrival. The unit was comfortable and spacious, except for the limited bathroom space. The owner gave us a bigger unit at no additional cost, and the view was breathtaking. The owner accommodated us when we requested an early check-in time, which we appreciated.

Was a pleasant stay.

The unit 3 that we stayed in, the shower was leaking, this led to the bathroom being full of water after each shower taken. This was really a mission as we had to use multiple towels to soak up all the water. When there is loadshedding, there is absolutely no signal. Please maybe invest in a UPS. This is a power bank for the WIFI and keeps the WIFI on during loadshedding. Please be advised the door handle for the bathroom was broken, just a hazard if there are children in the unit. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you. We are looking forward to many more stays.

Was baie vriendelik ontvang en verblyf was baie gemaklik.

Kamers was netjies en netheid was goed. Personeel was baie gaaf en het ons in Afrikaans ontvang. Die verblyf is naby die see (loopafstand) en geriewe soos 'n mall en eetplekke is letterlik 'n klipgooi weg.

The rooms were spacious and it was nice that there were 2 bathrooms. We stayed in the Garden view unit. There are lots of stairs to get there but it's not too bad. The location is great as it is right next to the beach. Would reccomend.

I have stayed for 5 days with my mother and my son.

The house is very clean. The cleaning staff and Margen are friendly and easy to communicate with. It felt like I was at home. it is a walking 5 minutes distance from the beach.

I specifically booked 4 bedrooms for 4 adults bit you guys inly booked me 2 bedrooms. I had put this request on my booking, but it was ignored.

Meg and Deon were amazing hosts. The accommodation was cleaned daily by the most friendly staff, the rooms and kitchen are well stocked for self catering and the place is centrally located. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break away.

Die tyd daar was baie goed ons het ons tyd geniet. Ons sal beslis terugkeer, die diens was puik en baie netjies.

Unit kept clean, friendly staff.

One issue was that there was no water some days with low water pressure. Establishment did not offer to supply water, had to buy our own. The bed is of poor quality, after the second night my wife and I both had sore lower backs. The bedside lamps. One has insulation tape on wiring and the other one switch his broken exposing metal parts that can shock a person. The furniture on the balcony has screw-heads that extrude and after sitting for 5 minutes they start to hurt.

Goeie oefening na woonstel, die een kamer is heeltemal donker en aardige reuk vanaf buite. Die ander kamer was beter met natuurlike lig. Dit was netjies en skoon met 'n lekker groot yskas. Parkering se hek kan nie toesluit en is nie werklik veilig nie.

We enjoyed our stay, nice and spacious rooms, but disappointed with the quality of the cleaning and that it didn't include the dishes for a reason

The run around with the Wi-Fi was really not necessary. That must be up to standard before the guests arrive or a back-up plan. The mat was really not that clean. Can we get at least a bigger TV. The shower in the room downstairs did not have a ledge to put my soaps and shower gel.

Wow! What a holiday destination. My family wanted to extend our stay, but it wasn't possible.

The accommodation was great but getting there was a bit of a challenge due to all of the turns. That shouldn't be a deterrent though.

Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and a truly magic experience combined with a personal touch.

Not what was offered online

The room we were given felt like a servants quarters that they turned into an extra room to make more money. It was not overlooking the beach as stated online and in the prior communication. The room was behind the house and the view was of their wall and stuff they had covered with a sail. The WiFi was restricted which was frustrating and we did not have secure parking for the vehicle. We asked if we could park inside and were told by the owner that she would move her car and allow us to park in her spot. This seemed to be an inconvenience. Was not a relaxing stay. However it was clean and the water was hot.

The most amazing stay ever.

My husbands stay in this accommodation was amazing. The host was very accommodating and very easy going. We will definitely book here again. The rooms are beautiful and so refreshing. We will definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

Behalwe dat die ander persone in die ander akkommodasie langs ons vreeslik lawaai het vroegoggend was die verblyf baie lekker en ek sal dit enige tyd aanbeveel.

Dit was heerlik, maar daar is geen direkte kommunikasie van die eienaars nie.

Ek sal definitief nie weer by Silver Tides bly nie. Hulle het ons nie verwittig dan hulle WiFi aanbied nie. Die badkamer is verskriklik klein. Die eienaar het nie vriendelik gevoel nie. Daar was geen kommunikasie van die eienaar behalwe die reëlings getref vir parkering nie, dit het gevoel asof ons hul privaatheid oortree. Hulle het net 'n halwe minuut gepraat en dis dit!
