Very difficult start, because I expected a private bathroom.

Very nice, if eclectic decor. Logistics of stay difficult. Tea and coffee in owner's sitting room, as was access to loo and shower. Inexpensive, and would only recommend to someone who was happy with shared bathroom. Load shedding made life very difficult as room got very cold, often at inconvenient times. Eskom's fault. Owner very nice, unconventional person.

Unique stay off the beaten track.

If you happen to find yourself in this little town, then you must make a plan to stay at Simply M. Beautifully converted from an old church building, this accommodation truly gives you a unique experience. We were very well received by our hostess Miems, who lives on the premises. We had arranged dinner with her and she cooked us the most wonderful food with local ingredients and even some items out of her garden! The room was spotlessly clean and neat, and we slept very well. Would highly recommend this guest house.

Fabulous, friendly, fantastic.

We will definitely recommend Simply M to anyone and should we go that way again, we will most certainly book there again. Classy stay and wonderful hostess.
