Good day, Chris,
I trust you had a good stay and that you have received your refund.
I would like to clarify to you, that our communication started over 3 months ago when you booked our accommodation and has always been smooth.
I personally dealt with you and have responded to every inquiry you had.
When you arrived at our property, you took photos of all broken items (in my understanding) and you shared them with me. You did not take a photo of the broken door lever.
After you exited, I was informed of the broken door lever, which I then queried with you. You mentioned you didn’t know anything about it.
I immediately responded to you that it will not affect your damage deposit refund, and in fact, did send an email for your refund to be processed (and copied you on the email)
I want to clarify that you paid your damage deposit to the wrong account (not the one I provided you).
I also informed you at checkout that your damage deposit refund might delay since you paid to the wrong account instead of the owner’s account.
I, therefore, do not understand why you gave us (as the property) a bad customer service review.
It was my responsibility to ask you about the broken door lever.
I also did send you a damage deposit invoice with the correct account number, then you chose to use a different account.
