Perfect.

Love the segregation, perfect location. The cottage was equipped with everything. Enjoyed the beautiful views, swimming pool and hot tub.

Weekend away.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Skillie's Mountain Cottage. Both times with friends and this time with an extra child. (5 in total) - this was prearranged. There are 2 lovely rooms with separate bathrooms (this is a must for us). The owners put an extra camping bed in the large lounge and there is an extra day bed in the lounge as well. The care given on everything needed eg. Firefighters, wood, cleaning stock, shampoo, nice coffee etc is really appreciated, the views are beautiful and you are isolated away from the rat race. Lovely walks through the apple orchids. Huge undercover braai. Board games, a lot of care to help with load shedding. We didn't even know when and if there was load shedding. Gas is available as well. We will definitely book to stay again. Becoming one of our favourite places and only an hour and a half to Cape Town with a beautiful drive through Franschhoek.
