Skoene Uit @ Hillside

Uitstekend en gemaklik.

Ons was oorspronklik iewers anders bespreek, Tim was met ons in kontak gewees. Ongelukkig het dinge vreeslik verkeerd geloop en die webtuiste was genoodsaak om vir ons inderhaas ander verblyf te reël. Ons het so by Skoene Uit @ Hillside opgeëindig. Lente het regtig uit haar pad gegaan om ons te help en by te staan. Niks was vir haar te veel moeite gewees nie. Lente, weereens baie dankie vir al jou hulp en weet ons sal beslis weer van Skoene Uit @ Hillside gebruik maak.

Wonderful host with a spacious and clean room and bathroom.

When we arrived at the guest house, the host was waiting for us with the keys. While we spoke, we mentioned that we wanted to bring back home some frozen seafood. She then "upgraded" us to a larger, more spacious room with a bigger fridge and a larger freezer compartment without any extra costs. Because our return trip was on Sunday 31 December, she left the room clean and ready and the key in the guesthouse's safe box at the gate. I already told her that I will definitely in future make use of the accommodation again. The host also recommended to us the restaurant Ou Kar for a nice eating experience. I would recommend the accommodation to anybody who wants to enjoy a nice and quiet sleep-over in a small town away from the busy highways.

Comfy, clean, great when travelling with dogs.

Lovely location and good recommendations around town. It would be lovely to have a stove in the unit and basic washing up amenities, but other than that, everything necessary was supplied and the stay was comfortable. Dogs loved the garden, and we appreciate that it was enclosed and secure - definitely a big plus! We will be back.
