Sky Blue Guest House

I enjoyed my stay.

The venue at Sky Blue Guest House was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The kitchen and dining area were clean, nice, and spacious, even though we did not use them.

The stay in average but need to improve on cleanliness.

Customer service is great, especially with lady called Sethu, she prepared our room and made us feel special. But overall service with Tanya made us feel like kids which we were not. I would not go there again personally due to her treatment, yes there was a bottle that broke but were coming back to pick it up and she made it as if the place was messy but we washed the dishes. You go out to enjoy yourself not to be treated as an employee.

Peaceful.

Apart from buying own toilet paper and the room not being cleaned the place is awesome.

Behulpsaam

Was baie behulpsaam, netjies en skoon. Bietjie teleurgesteld omdat daar geen see-uitsig was nie, al was daar gesê dat daar een is. Ek was bietjie onkant gevang met die gemeenskaplike kombuis en geen koffiegeriewe in die kamers nie.

Comfortable bed.

We didn't like the communal room. Prefer coffee facility in our bedroom. There is plenty of room. In fact enough room for a bath too.

Budget accommodation at a not so budget fee.

Poorly marked parking - got called during pouring rain to move my vehicle. I still don't know why because there was ample parking for the other vehicles. The place is far from clean, leaves lying on the floors, dirty laundry greets you as you go down the steps to the common room area, the floors were never cleaned the whole weekend. The room was acceptable, but nothing impressive. Noisy water pump right next to the room, every time someone opens a tap the pump switches on and wakes you up. Had to phone the owner in the middle of the night to ask her to quiet the other guests, the night manager did nothing out of her own. Not impressed at all.

Dit voel soos jou huis ver van huis. Baie netjies en skoon en die gasvrou en personeel baie vriendelik.

Die televisie het ook baie beter kanale as by die vorige verblyfplekke.

Great location, clean and we liked the hospitality.

Open plan toilet needs to be closed off and ventilated. The place is good though.

Netjiese gastehuis, nuut en skoon, goed geleë en beslis waarde vir geld. Vriendelike gasvrou en personeel het die verblyf soveel lekkerder gemaak.

Excellent.

Accommodation was way beyond expectation. Owner was really battling with water shortage in Kenton, but we never experienced any problems. The communal catering arrangements were excellent, pity some of the visitors didn't consider their fellow lodgers!
