Skyhouse on Clarence

Nice stay, awesome for big family.

Magic braai area and eating table.

Was very neat and clean, family friendly and peaceful.

Skyhouse on Clarence is a very spacious family house a lot of room for children to run freely and enjoy themselves.

Goed toegeruste vakansiehuis.

Ons het baie lekker gebly by Sky House, en veral lekker gekuier voor die binnebraai. Sal dit beslis aanbeveel vir 'n gesin met kinders, of groep vriende. Die huis het alles wat mens nodig het.

House needs work

Roof was cracked, paint coming off walls. There is no oven, not even a plunger in the kitchen, the kitchen rags and dish sponge was dirty. The house clearly needs repairs. The bedding was extremely old. Not worth the money.

Very nice weekend, but had to deal with a arrogant owner.

The day of arrival we found the cups with coffee stains in it but it was packed in the cupboard, the cloths were dirty we tried to wash it but we could not get the stains out and the couches was dirty we could not sit on them. I had to buy paper plates and our own glasses to use. The day we left i told the owner about the dirty dishes she asked me why did I not wash the dishes myself. She accused me of lying because I did not take pictures of the dirty dishes. The day we left and it came to paying the deposit the owner sent me pictures of a drum that was broken and I told her that drum was broken when we got there then she said okay it's fine few minutes later she sent me a picture of a dirty sheet and I told her I've paid a cleaning fee for the house to be cleaned after we left then she dropped that story then she sent me a picture of a counter top that had a chip in and i told her we never done that as she is taking chances with me its like she is looking for something to blame me for. I told her that the day the caretaker came to collect the key we asked him if we should take a tour around the house with him to check for damages and he said no he will check the house out by himself. I should have taken that as a red flag indicator for me to have insisted to take a tour around the house. The day we had to check in the owner sent me a a message to ask when am I paying the deposit and I told her but few weeks ago she said Thank you to me for paying the full amount and she said but the deposit is not reflecting on her side and I sent her the proof of payments and her response was "OK enjoy your stay". She charged me R 1000 for a chip in the counter top strip. Besides the dirty dishes and arrogant owner we had a very enjoyable stay at Skyhouse on Clarence, the house is very relaxing. If you decide to book Skyhouse on Clarence please insist not to deal with Marjan.

I felt very at home here.

Our stay was short, we felt at home. It had all we needed, very spacious. Paul was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would gladly return and recommend Skyhouse on Clarence.

It was amazing.

Skyhouse on Clarence met all my expectation would definitely want to visit again.

Ruim, rustig en netjies.

Ons naweek by hierdie ruim, netjiese huis was baie lekker. Noodsaaklikhede word voorsien in die huis en die kuierarea met die lang tafel is gepas vir geselligheid by die vuur met vriende!

Dit is perfek vir 'n naweek weg en het baie potensiaal.

Ons almal het ons tydjie daar geniet en wens ons kon langer daar gebly het. Die plekkie is baie mooi opgedoen en het soveel waarde. Ons wil eendag weer terug kom. Die plekkie is baie netjies en rustig. Die enigste probleem is die plek makeer meer veiligheid.

Teleurgesteld

By ontvangs van die sleutel is ons meegedeel dat die voertuie nie baie veilig is nie en dit het ons baie onrustig gelaat. Die sitbanke in ontvangs/sitkamer was opmerklik baie vuil en kort 'n deeglike skoonmaak. Die beddegoed (kussings) het nie vars geruik nie. Bitter min/geen komberse beskikbaar vir koue aande. Die waterpype het bedompig voorgekom en iewers lek daar water wanneer jy stort (nie teenstaande dat die stortdeur dig toe was) aangesien die hele badkamervloer onder water was. Die dorp het 'n kragprobleem gedurende die nag ondervind wat teweeggebring het dat ons nie eers kon ontbyt of koffie maak nie. Geen alternatiewe fasiliteit (gas bottel of stoof) was tot ons beskikking nie. Niemand het eers die moeite gedoen om ons in te lig van die krag situasie nie en was ons genoodsaak om rond te bel om uit te vind wat aangaan.

Baie lekker woning, veilighied is 'n issue.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier. Huis is baie lekker en skoon gewees.
