Lovely place and Alan was superb, it was just very noisy and we struggled to sleep.

The walls between the rooms are thin, so you hear every word, movement, tap running etc. We only arrived at 22:00 and just wanted to sleep, but it was difficult. We wanted to sleep in but with the normal chatting next door we could not.

Pleasant but not.

I tried to call twice on the day we had to book in: no answer and nobody called back - not a good first impression. We were greeted by a very friendly lady, but she was busy cleaning and her overall was dirty and somewhat shabby - not a good second impression. The pillows needed replacement about 3 years ago. I would have loved a rug in front of the bed on each side of the bed, seeing that the floor is tiled. The bath mat was frayed - should not have been put out - not what one would have expected at a 4 star establishment. The floors felt dusty - especially felt it when walking barefoot. There was also a hairpin on the bathroom floor. No bedside lamps! Again 4 star establishment should have bedside lamps. No rooibos tea? Not in the rooms or at breakfast. Electricity DB Board in the dining room was exposed - no cover - I do not think that is legal. Black garbage bag was lying on the floor behind the serving station. Positives? Bed was of good quality. Breakfast was great.

Very friendly personnel and excellent service.

We were warmly welcomed on our arrival, directed to beautiful, comfortable rooms. The personnel was very accommodative with parking arrangements since we were to leave very early in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay, looking forward to another visit in future.
