Songold @ Oak Lane Cottages

Secluded, relaxing, enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the stay. The location was great, it was nice and secluded but also close to shops and markets. The cottage was fully kitted out, and the host was amazing and upgraded us to a bigger cottage because it was unoccupied and they believed we would enjoy it. This was done without any request from us. We had a terrific stay.

Putkos vir die siel.

Elke is vriendelik en behulpsaam, ons is vriendelik verwelkom. Die plekkie het alles wat jy nodig het vir selfsorg akkommodasie. Daar is genoeg bome vir skadu in die warm dae. Gevoel van veiligheid. Ons sal beslis weer gaan kuier. Ons het lekker geslaap.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The stay was lovely; however, there are some things that need improvement. I was travelling with my husband, so two single beds were not ideal. I would have appreciated it if this was communicated before arrival. The unit is rustic and has lots of potential. The bath and basin need to be replaced; I don't mind old, but they are stained, so it looks dirty. A picture or two in the room could help with the ambience. Liquid hand soap and dish liquid are watered down, which is not ideal. We went up to the lake, which was breathtakingly beautiful.

Heeltemal tevrede, slaapgeriewe gemaklik. Baie dankie, rustig, sal weer geriewe gebruik.

Disappointing.

It's a beautiful place, the cottage however is not so clean, the microwave is all rusted inside, which put me off completely.

Het heerlik ontspan.

Was heerlik rustig. Die natuur rondom die huisie is baie mooi.

Die kuier was die moeite werd. Die natuur is pragtig.

My verblyf was baie lekker. As jy iemand is wat rustigheid soek, is dit die perfekte plek. Die plekkie was goed toegerus met al die nodiges. Ek sal definitief weer bespreek.
