Disappointed. Feel ripped off. Not clear or honest in descriptions of view.

The room, furniture and layout were very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel has a great vibe and amazing art. The hotel has an interesting setup - with a 'self-cooked' breakfast and kitchen made available. I was bitterly disappointed with the view from the room and the security situation. The room is on the first floor where someone can literally grab the wall and hoist themselves up if they wanted to. After dark, there was no balcony setup or open door I felt safe with. When darkness came, the room is right next to a wall with a massive bright spotlight lighting up the sign next to my balcony. I even emailed the staff prior to booking to ensure we got that Camps Bay ocean view promised in the pictures on the website. This room was not it. I feel ripped off for the price I paid. I would be willing to share the email exchange for any disputes. Room write-up, location and views were not honest in my case. Happy to share pictures of the 'ocean view' from room 10. It should have been half the price!
