Not worth it.

Rooms not painted. Lighting poor. Linen not up to standard. R600 per night was not worth it. Mosquito was buzzing and biting the whole night.

Sorry you had a bad experience. We did mention that we were in a renovation of that room, but the booking was last minute and you decided to go ahead anyway.
Linen is 100% cotton, which we use for all guests, and we have never had a complaint.
Unfortunately, the white towel you used to polish your black shoes with was completely ruined and had to be thrown away.

A restful stay at a very authentic and rustic "Story of an African Farm"-style accommodation venue.

If you like a farmlike surrounding with ducks and other farm animals this will please you. Lots of opportunities to spend time outside during the day or evening if you don't go out exploring. Very welcoming, pleasant and accommodating hosts. Morning coffee and a hearty breakfast are available.
