I really loved my stay, it was short and very cold.

Clarens is a beautiful destination. The home we stayed in was beautiful. The load shedding is awful in winter. Especially because there's no warm water when the power is off. Wood should be provided as part of the deal.

We were disappointed. A lot of things broken and not working. I did send the owner feedback with photographs.

Fireplace didn't work. Gate was not working when we arrived. Wi-Fi didn't work. House is dirty. The oven door is broken. No extension cords in rooms to plug in both sides of electric blankets. Overall very disappointing.

Thank you for your honest review. We value each guest's feedback to improve our overall experience at our place. We have taken all your considerations into account and have addressed the concerns with seriousness.

So far the gate and wifi have been permanently fixed which was constantly causing problems due to load shedding. Clarens overall has an issue with wifi due to the remote location.

The fireplace has been serviced since your visit and the oven door has been replaced. Extension cords have now been placed throughout the unit. The small details of cleanliness have been addressed.

We hope to see you again soon for a second opinion.
