On that note I would like to add that we are self-catering so we don't do cleaning while there's guest at the house. The two extra beds don't get made, the guests do that themselves according to their sleeping arrangements.

Yes we are having a problem with the swollen wooden stacking doors due to the unusual amount of rain experienced during December, January and February this year. It takes some effort to close and lock them properly, but they do all lock. If you had let us know, our very helpful supervisor would have been there in a jiffy to assist you to lock the doors so that you did not have to sleep with unlocked doors. I am so sorry you had to go through that and were so traumatised. Next time, instead of suffering sleepless nights, rather communicate with the staff or the owner of an establishment and they will all bend over backwards to make you feel safe and secure.
