State of Grey

Baie beslis die moeite en geld werd en ons sal enige tyd weer teruggaan daarheen.

Ons het 'n gasvrye ontvangs vanaf twee hartlike eienaars ontvang en was vanaf die intrap tuis. Die plek is besonders mooi, ruim, veilig en netjies. Alles was tot ons beskikking en die naweek was sommer net te kort.

A perfect 10.

Baie lekker gebly, dit voel sommer soos om by die huis te wees.

Fantastiese en baie mooi huis. Sommer gevoel of ons tuis is. Daar was alles waaraan jy kan dink. Baie luuks! Stil omgewing, rustige bure. Sal volgende keer beslis langer daar tuisgaan.

Dit was 'n wonderlike naweek saam met vriende in hierdie pragtige huis! Alles was baie modern en netjies. Die uitsig van die see was wonderlik! Sal weer en weer kom!

Incredible!

Absolutely incredible stay. The host was friendly, welcoming and so kind to my family. I cannot recommend this place enough! I celebrated my 30th birthday at the accommodation and it was honestly the most memorable stay of my life!

Definitief 'n wenner.

Die eiendom is pragtig en baie, baie goed geleë. Dis reg op die strand en sowat 5 minute weg van die Laguna Mall. Definitief 'n wenner.

Heerlik gekuier. Die gasvrou was absoluut wonderlik. Sy het uit haar pad gegaan om ons tuis te laat voel. Pragtige huis en die beste eetgerei en linne. Absolute waarde vir geld. Sal definitief weer besoek. Baie dankie.

'n Asemrowende huis. Fassinerende binnenshuise ontwerp en terapeutiese ligging.

Die gasvrou, Lizelle, se medemenslikheid en bystand was ongelooflik. 'n Droomervaring. Tot ons woewe-kinders is so welkom laat voel. 'n Rare fonds.

Breathtaking views all around.

We really enjoyed our stay at the State of Grey. Unfortunately, we can't rate them 5 stars. A house in this price range in Calypso Beach, should by now be outfitted for loadshedding. We were informed that there is an inverter for the tv, 3 reloadable lights, gas braai for a kettle or a pot (but not to braai) and an inside fireplace to braai. As luck would have it, loadshedding 6 was scheduled for the whole weekend. When we arrived, we soon discovered there was: No gas for the gas braai (which Lizelle quickly sorted the next morning). The kettle on the gas braai leaked (which Lizelle quickly sorted the next morning). Most of the candles were used up (which Lizelle quickly sorted the next morning). The 3 lights were insufficient for the size of the house. The first few stairs to the second floor are dangerous without lights. When we contacted Lizelle late that evening, she was fast to reply, thank you Lizelle. The next morning Chico arrived early. He was friendly and eager to sort everything. We could at least have a nice ambience the next 2 nights during loadshedding, despite the cold. Privacy downers: The "open toilet" in the main bedroom is not ideal, if you are used to privacy and a fresh air bedroom. The house is right next to the walkway to the beach. Suggestions: I missed my robot vacuum cleaners. The house can do with one Roomba downstairs and one upstairs. Connect the router to the inverter to prevent the internet connection to drop during loadshedding or get a backup battery. Connect the lights to the inverter. Other than that, the house is outfitted with everything you will need. The views are breathtaking from almost every angle inside the house.
