Jenny’s Cottage is a romantic escape hidden in the forest, within close distance to the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve gate. The cottage offers lovely mountain views. Jenny’s Cottage can accommodate up to 3 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a single bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. The cosy lounge features a fireplace, and the dining area is furnished with a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The cottage has a lovely private outdoor space.

No external wood is allowed due to shot hole borer. There is an honesty system for wood on site. Built-in braais are available at all houses.

The Forest Lodge is hidden away in the forest, just a short walk from the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve gate. The lodge can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional outside shower, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Many of the rooms are interleading, so it’s best suited for a family or close friends. The first and second bedroom are each furnished with a queen bed, and the third bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet, and washbasin, and opens to the outdoor shower with a mountain view. The kitchen is well-equipped with a hob, mini-oven, microwave, and an open braai fireplace, as well as a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The cosy lounge contains comfortable seating.

The Strawberry Hill Lodge sleeps up to 9 guests and comprises 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen dining and living area. The first, second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a king-size bed and a fireplace and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a single bed. This room has access to a separate bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and an open braai fireplace. The dining area is furnished with a 10-seater dining table and chairs. The cosy lounge offers seating, a fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. Outside is a covered patio and a built-in braai. The lodge is situated right at the start of the Grootvadersbosch mountain trail network and close to the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. It’s the ideal place for a mountain bike, hike or birding escape.
