Underwhelm, had high hopes but was sadly disappointed.

Unfortunately, Mountain View Studio was a let down when compared to our stays at other places within Namibia. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful. It just lacked the basic hospitality touches. We informed the team that we would check in late in the evening since we were travelling from Swakopmund. When we arrived there and called the place, the receptionist could not find our booking and this took about 25 minutes to sort out. Eventually checked in after 11 pm and got to our room. Only towels for 1 person even though our booking was for 2 persons. No water in the room. No soap or sanitiser to wash off the dust from our hands and faces. A mirror would also have been expected in the unit. The electricity went off during the night and only came back on before we left the next morning. The air conditioner was welcomed since the place can get very hot even during the early hours of the morning. Adding the small personal touches will help relieve some of the underwhelm which we experienced. I must mention that the poolside area is just as beautiful as the pictures.
