Relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts are very friendly and answer all our questions within an amazing amount of time and always check up on us, even asking if we got home safe. The cottage has everything you need and we enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets each night. It is close to town and activities but is also a place to stay even for a relaxing day.

Magical!

Our stay was nothing short of magical! Virginia and John were an absolute treat as hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable in the unexpected snowfall! They really made our stay special and the accommodation was more than we could have hoped for. Comfortable and completely kitted out for anything you would need. Thank you to Virginia, John and all of their gorgeous animals for making our weekend one to remember. I highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful and relaxing.

We were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had a lovely stay, from the stunning view and sunsets to feeding the chickens in the morning and playing with the dogs. It's very close to the shopping centre if you need anything, but it also gives the feeling of being in nature and not near any roads. Truly an amazing stay. Would highly recommend to anyone. The flat is very well equipped and stays warm even when it's freezing outside.

Our stay was lovely!

It's a new, clean and well-kept cottage containing anything you might have forgotten. The owners are lovely, friendly and accommodating. The setting is just beautiful, with it earning its name as Sunset Cottage. It has a lovely little private garden with a braai. If it's too cold, there's one on the enclosed patio too, which has big glass doors to let in the sunset but keep out the cold. We loved the animals! There are gorgeous dogs to keep you company and some curious chickens and ducks to feed, which all just makes for an all-round lovely experience.

Our stay was amazing and our hosts were attentive to every need. Next time we are in the area, we won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Dit was heerlik gewees met al's wat jy by jou huis geniet.

Pragtig.

Ons het baie lekker gebly. Die verblyf was netjies, skoon en die omgewing pragtig. Die gashere was baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. (Ons kon net 'n braaibak vir ons vleis kry nie en die matras is al so klein bietjie skeef gelê.)

Best fitted cottage you'll find!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The cottage itself is by far the best fitted out I've seen, everything is provided. The cottage is exceptionally clean with great views!

Baie mooi uitsig.

Ruim en goed ingerigte woonstel met alles wat jy nodig het en selfs nog meer. Die mooi uitsig maak dit net nog meer spesiaal. Sal beslis aanbeveel.

We had a pleasant stay and everything we needed was provided.

Firewood for the fireplace, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The firewood, tea, coffee, milk and sugar were very welcome and an added bonus. Virginia was very accommodating and helpful.

Verblyf is uiters netjies, beste uitsig en ligging. Baie goed ingerig, hout word verskaf vir braai, firelighters en selfs vuurhoutjies. Eienaars gaan rerig uit hulle pad om jou tuis te laat voel. Beste diens wat ons al ooit ontvang het.

Huweliksherdenking-naweek.

Ons het geboek by Sunset View Self-catering Cottage Underberg. Wat 'n ongelooflike spesiale plek. Die eienaars, John and Virginia het uit hul pad uit gegaan om ons tydjie spesiaal te maak. Daar was nie 'n iets wat kortgekom het nie, ook nie tydens load shedding nie. Hul het die mooiste view en wat 'n mooi omgewing ook. Was ons eerste keer in die Drakensberge, wat 'n goeie ervaring het ons nie gehad nie? Selfs die dorpie is silwerskoon en netjies. Hierdie plekkie verdien 5 sterre! Kan dit hoogs aanbeveel vir enige paartjie. Baie dankie John en Virginia vir jul gasvryheid.

Peace and tranquility accommodation.

This cottage is absolutely comfortable and relaxing for a couple who wants a peaceful break, the environment is so lovely with poultry roaming around animals if you are a lover of dogs and donkeys, cats didn't visit as I have a phobia for them, the owners are warm and loving people who go out of their way to ensure your vacation is a good one, thanks to Virginia and John, will definitely love going back at another time.

Absolutely beautiful!

This cottage was everything we expected and more. Very well situated with wonderful views of the mountains! The hosts are are amazingly friendly and we felt right at home. We were there in the middle of June and the cottage was lovely, warm and cosy. We got such a kick out of being able to make fires in 3 different fireplaces in one day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Ongelooflike verblyf by Sunset View Cottage.

Sunset View het ons verwagtinge oortref. Vandat ons daar gestop het, het die gashere ons baie vriendelik verwelkom. Die cottage was baie stylvol en netjies. Ons het 'n wonderlike tyd by Sunset View Cottage gehad en sal graag weer wil teruggaan.

Dit is 'n losstaande eenheid wat privaatheid waarborg.

Splinternuut, puik ontwerp met nodige s/s toebehore. Opvoudeure vir stoep maak binnebraai tops! Unieke verwelkomingskomitee met hoenders en honde as lede. Lekker gekuier, dankie.

Baie netjies, vriendelike ontvangs, waarde vir geld. Als wat ons nodig gehad het.

Sal beslis weer daar bly en aanbeveel.

Clean, modern accommodaton in Underberg with excellent views and very welcoming and helpful hosts.

This accommodation is excellently designed with modern furnishings and comfort in mind. The indoor braai area is separated from the rest of the house by a glass door so the smoke from the fire does not blow inside the cottage - a very nice touch after we have experienced smokey bedrooms in other holiday cottages in other parts of the country. You are able to braai and watch the views on cool days and evenings in the warmth of the double-glazed enclosed verandah. Everything one can need on a holiday is available including a warm comfy bed, a dishwasher, firewood, and all amenities. Lovely touches by the hosts include flowers on the table, tea and coffee facilities, and also herbs and salt and pepper for meal preparation. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us, recommending a wonderful tour of Sani Pass and good fishing spots. Lovely animals on the property that was very friendly and cuddly but would never bother anyone who didn't enjoy being around furry friends. We would really recommend this cottage for a getaway. We will be back for longer next time!
