Sweet Thorn House

A great stay in a beautiful house!

This is our third visit to Sweet Thorn and this will not be our last. We love the animals that visit the house throughout the day. The house is comfortable and well-equipped.

Baie lekker gebly. Sal beslis weer gebruik maak van die huis.

Pragtige plek. Puik diens gekry vanaf die gasvrou.

Fantasties, rustig en ongelooflik lekker.

Was daar vir 7 dae. Rustig in die bos, diere elke dag kom kuier. Atmosfeer rustig en kon ontspan. Was privaat en op ons eie.

We had a great bush break.

Fantastic! We had a great stay at Sweet Thorn House. The host is great! We had a great stay and enjoyed the stoep area and the animals coming to visit! The kitchen is well equipped and you will have all you will need. The house is an easy walk to the border with the Kruger Park. Thank you so much and we will see you again!

Baie lekker kerstyd gehad. Huis is goed toegerus. Baie diere kom na die huis toe.

A slice of heaven.

Sweet Thorn House was literally the perfect place for us. Every single need was met, the animals visited the house plenty, and the location made it convenient for us. Thank you for the great stay!

Gerieflik, baie netjies, lekker naby die rivier.

Ons het heerlik gebly. Die kombuis is goed toegerus en daar is 'n heerlike koel stoep en swembad. Dit is lekker naby aan die rivier. Die huis was mooi skoon en baie gerieflik. Baie diere loop in die omgewing. Sien julle volgende keer.

Peaceful and comfortable!

Sweet Thorn House is well-equipped. The addition of an inverter made such a difference. We enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back.

Ongelooflike mooi plek met alles wat jy nodig het.

Baie dankie dat ons julle pragtige huis kon gebruik. Die plek was baie netjies en dit het alles gehad wat jy nodig het en meer. Alles het 100% gewerk en al die diere wat kom kuier het was 'n groot plus. Ons was al baie in Marlothpark en julle plek was die beste wat ons nog gehad het. Sal dit beslis weer kom besoek.

Absolutely amazing!

Sweet Thorn House is a gem and the perfect place to create special memories. We spent the weekend with family and the kids loved it. They were able to see various animals up close. We will definitely stay here again in the near future.

Ongelooflike ervaring.

Die huis is op die beste ligging moontlik. Alles was net perfek. Die verblyf was idillies en die natuurskoon en dierelewe was fantasies. Ons gaan definitief weer by Sweet Thorn House vakansie hou.

Wonderful home away from home.

We had an amazing time. The house is thoughtfully designed and appointed. We wanted for nothing. Everything from the inverter and battery set up, to sharp knives, to a large fan, comfortable furniture and a lovely garden that was visited by kudu, wildebeest, zebra, bush baby, giraffe, and a mongoose. We loved it and will definitely be back again.

Wat 'n pragtige plek.

Ons het Sweet Thorn House waarlik geniet. Die kinders was heeldag in die swembad. Die diere was elke dag om die huis om iets te kry om te eet. Ons het 'n rustige en heerlike tyd gehad. Dankie vir Helen dat ons jou pragtige plek kon besoek. Ons sal weer kom kuier.

Rus en vrede.

Die huis is baie netjies en skoon, splash pool, aircons in die kamers, veiligheidshekke op alle deure, oordentlike meubels, inverter en WiFi met Netflix, ons sal definitief Sweet Thorn aanbeveel, dis defnitief waarde vir geld. Ons is uitgerus en reg vir die res van die jaar wat voorlê. Baie dankie.

Sweet Thorn House is a beautiful house that has everything you need or think of for your family or friends. It's refreshing to see animals nearby. We enjoyed our weekend.

Pragtig, skoon, netjies en sommer net 'n lekker plek.

Pragtige plek! Als wat jy nodig het. Netheid opvallend. Kommunikasie uitstekend. Heerlike stoep wat uitkyk oor braai en swembad, wat die kinders terdeë geniet het.

Lekker gerus in 'n mooi huis.

Heerlike plek om te ontspan.

Wat 'n lekker plek, skoon en netjies, ons verblyf was awesome.

Ons het dit baie geniet en sal definitief weer soontoe gaan.

Sweet Thorn House met and exceeded all my expectations on my week long stay.

Sweet Thorn House was a delight to stay in for the week. Sufficient space in each of the 2 en suite bedrooms which could easily sleep 6. The living area was comfortable with sufficient seating for just lounging around and watching Netflix (LOL!!) and the spacious kitchen made preparing meals an absolute pleasure. If need be, there is also a separate cottage that can be rented which can accommodate another 2 guests. Hot water is supplied via gas geysers and (funny enough. ) load-shedding provided some time to just sit in candle-lit silence and appreciate being in the Bushveld. The house is well-positioned to ensure that all kinds of animals can be observed meandering through the property - zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, warthogs, buck, and kudus, the list goes on. And many of these animals we could feed by hand which made the experience all the more special. The fire area is great for open braais or just having a fire going while sitting on the spacious patio watching the animals come to feed. Although we didn't use the swimming pool (a great asset for the summer months), it was well maintained and serviced during our stay. The house is also conveniently located, close to the mini shopping complex, restaurants, the tourism office and easily accessible via Gate 2 of Marloth Park. Asemrowend.

Dit was net wat ons nodig gehad het. Rustig in die bos die diere het elke dag kom hello-sê, oggend en aand. Dit was net asemrowend ons het dit so geniet. Sien julle definitief weer.

Heerlike Bosveldkuier.

Dankie vir die pragtige akkommodasie. Dit was skoon en netjies en daar is als wat mens nodig het. Die swembad is goed versorg en was mooi helder blou met aankoms. Ons het heelwat besoek van diere gehad en dit het my 6 jarige baie geniet. Dis ook lekker naby die grensdraad gelee. Dis beslis die moeite werd gewees en ons sal graag weer daar gaan bly. Ouma was ook saam, en sy het dit net so baie geniet soos ons.

Good and a nice view.

It was all good, loved the stay. Just a few things that bothered me were there was no bedding on the beds, had to look for bedding, finding bedding in cupboard and not on bed. But further it was a great stay.
