Excellent, great accommodation and friendly service.

Excellent stay - spacious and really excellent facilities, everything you could need! Pieter could not have been more helpful to us with some complicated requests, including some emergency gin. Cannot recommend this place any more, we'll hopefully be back soon! WiFi, showers, cooking stuff, daily replenishment of wood for the braai, all perfect.

Restful, stunning, authentic.

We had a wonderful stay at Tankwa River Lodge. The house is well equipped and everyone had a good night's rest. Peter is an excellent host and went the extra mile to make sure we were well looked after. The surroundings are just spectacular; we were lucky enough to walk to a waterfall and see many endemic flowers along the way. The farm is pristine and showcases the beauty of the Karoo in every aspect. Peter has done an excellent job in keeping the house authentic and true to its Karoo heritage.

Beyond expectations.

An absolute oasis in the heart of the Karoo, all the amenities of a luxury lodge. So beautiful and peaceful. The staff are amazing, would definitely go back and highly recommended to friends and families.

Unique, stylish and comforting experience of the Tankwa.

Aside from the debacle of the directions on how to get to the place - this really needs to be addressed and better directions given as the GPS took us to places even the devil hasn't been! I will discuss this directly with Peter! Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable and the staff/management were helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
