Description
Thandile Country Lodge is the oldest farm in Bela-Bela and dates back to 1856. Come and experience the original farmhouse that has been beautifully restored and offers 7 luxury rooms.
Each room has comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Each room also has tea and coffee-making facilities and WiFi. Accommodation is available as room only or with breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is open to guests and the self-catering cottages have kitchenettes with braai facilities. Each bathroom in the self-catering cottages has a shower, toilet and basin.
There are braai facilities on the premises and wood is available but if the guests prefer to use charcoal, they must please bring their own along. On the premises, there is an old concrete farm dam that has been converted into a splash pool for guests to cool off on those warm days. There are no TVs of DStv on the premises but we do offer 24/7 Wi-Fi so guests are welcome to bring their own smartphones, tablets or laptops along to watch their favourite programs.
There is also full solar in the main lodge and a gas water heating system.
On-site facilities include horse riding, game viewing, bird watching, mountain biking, catch-&-release fishing, a spa & wellness centre and 2 swimming pools.
