The Beach Room is situated on the picturesque Woodbridge Island Estate, with 24-hour manned Security. It is a safe and tranquil haven with the beach and its picture-postcard views of Table Mountain 50 meters from your doorstep and the Cape Town city centre a quick 9 km drive or MyCiti bus ride away.

The studio room with free wi-fi sleeps 1 or 2 adults in a small, cosy room furnished with a queen-size bed made up with crisp, white bed linen. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Towels, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion are supplied.

In-room facilities include a flat-screen Smart TV with full DStv Premium channels, built-in cupboard, a wall-mounted workstation with a space-saving fold-down counter and free Wi-Fi internet access. The room also offers basic self-catering facilities, which include a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee plunger, crockery and cutlery.

The room is completely separate from the main house with its own entrance and a small courtyard with 2 chairs and a small table for your exclusive relaxation and leisure. Secure parking in designated visitor parking bays are available. There are 3 communal swimming pools on the Island for the enjoyment of residents and guests. Tranquil communal gardens on Woodbridge Island also afford plenty of quiet relaxation space where you can sit back, enjoy the scene or read in peace and quiet.

The highlight of staying on Woodbridge Island, is the 5 kilometre-stretch of beach less than 50 metres from your front door. Here you can surf, run or walk to your heart's content against the picture-postcard backdrop of Table Mountain and the City on the one side and Bloubergstrand on the other with Robben Island across the bay.

Less than 5 minutes on foot to 4 local beach bars and restaurants, serving all-day breakfasts, lunch and dinner. The ever-popular BOSSA restaurant and bar, with its breathtaking views of the city and Table Mountain, is just across the way from the entrance to the Estate.

The Centrepoint Shopping Centre is within easy walking distance. Here you'll find Pick 'n Pay, a liquor store, Clicks and a gym. Across the road is a Shoprite and a Spar.

The kite-boarding hot spot of Tableview is less than 9 km away as well as more local surfing spots including Eden on the Bay/Big Bay. The cycle lane takes you either in the direction of Tableview along the beachfront or right into Cape Town city centre. For gym lovers, the Century City Virgin Active branch is 10 minutes away at the popular Canal Walk shopping and entertainment complex.
Across from the entrance to Woodbridge Island you can play links golf on Milnerton Golf course and canoe on the Milnerton Lagoon.
